You can always put good software on it... Many people forget the freedom of Android. It's open source, you can do ANYTHING you want. That's why there's so many home alternatives, because there's no limitations to what you can do with your phone. :)

Good for you, this OS is coming along immensely. (In terms of gaming) I've been an Android user for a long time (Since middle of last year) and Android has come a really long way. I think once developers realize how much more freedom you have with Android, they won't look back.

While I agree with most of your points (btw, Droid X is a great device), it's pointless to argue in this forum. Android will never get a fair shake here

ADMIN-MOD FIGHT!!!!!! DO IT UP!!!! Eli takes the first swing but IMNS ducks, dodging the beastly punch, IMNS winds up and delivers one straight into eli's stomach. Eli returns with a massive roundhouse kick right into IMNS face. IMNS gets up and wha? hes glowing...and shooting energy balls into hodapp, oh Hodapp just blew up. damnit, that fight didnt last long :(

When that happens I'll switch. I genuinely don't give a crap which platform/company I go with. I want the one with all the developer support. Right now that happens to be the iPhone, so everything else can screw itself until it improves.

Sounds kind of arrogant, but I see your point.

    It's temporary fanboyism.

Neither do I... I'm basically just trying to be the opposite of an ignorant fanboy who blindly follows his chosen platform for no good reason.

That's the opposite of what I said. I said I'll accept anything that has the support and gives me the experience I want. Right now it's Apple, so I'm with Apple.

Getting the best experience possible is what floats my boat... shouldn't that be the same for everyone? Don't sound so confused about it.

    Edit:

If anything, remaining neutral like that is the opposite of fanboyism.
