Yes! Android, PC / MAC are definitely in the works and will be released eventually. Linux: we'll try our best! :/
There is actually a very long history to this game... At one point it was a full on exploratory platformer (like metroid, etc.. we have playable demos!) but it kind of collapsed under the weight of it's own scope. So, we took the alternate route and distilled the game to it's core essence, and now intend to expand it from there. So eventually, more platforming, more exploration, more dialogue, more everything. This is all dependent of course on Trials of Glork being successful enough for us to actually do that. BUT, we are REALLY stoked at everyone's initial positive impressions and encouragement. We do imagine there is much more in store for Glorkian Warrior down the road...
Now THAT... is VERY exciting! I hope it does incredibly well and you can build on it more. Not that it's not especially entertaining as is... but... well... Metroid II is my favorite video game of ALL TIME... so... I'm trying not to scream with giddiness. =oP
If I understand and based on the videos and the thread, it's like a SHMUP. Are there upgrades and some sort of purpose other than high score chasing?
There is some soft of unlock tree that has weapons, funny stuff and scenarios that you eventually achieve by gathering energy crackers.
There's also Zoe & Chloe, two little girls in battle suits, who give you little quests to do. Achievement-like quests.
Thank you Frost and Glorkbot, oh and Frost, thanks for spending my money...AGAIN . Hitting the buy button now, lol.
Game doesn't run smooth on my iPad 4 with iOS 7. I mean most of time it does run normal, but there are moments when it slows down, that's especially noticeable when doing a challenge and getting notification about it mid game. Also , unlocked comic books aren't that "obvious", I think most of people won't realize they can acces them from achivement screen. My advice is to make them avaliable in main menu once they're unlocked.
We *JUST* fixed this issue in update 1.0.1 that should be live in the App Store in the next 24 hours (or now).
*watches video* *silence* Music...? *music plays* Um... *music stops* Argh! No constant music? What's going on here? Silence in an action game is boring.
I agree that watching the gameplay video that someone posted is boring. Painful, even. However, I think you will find the experience of actually playing the game to be much more exciting.
