Universal Glorkian Warrior: Trials Of Glork - (by Pixeljam)

I've heard from one other toucharcade user about this same issue. I'll make sure Miles (the programmer) looks into it.

In the meantime... maybe try d-pad controls? The other guy said the other control schemes still work for him.

 

Exactly which control scheme were you using? Edge? Dad? Dad Alt? Big or small buttons (if dpad)

After playing, I don't see a way to change the difficulty setting without closing the game. Except when the background change "warp" button shows up, it sets the title screen to the starting version.

 

I'm using the Edge scheme...

 

Just tried the D-pad control scheme and got through one game, click start to go again and freezes up once the level begins. The level is zoomed in some too and there is no response to controls, just as it was using Edge controls. I'll try the others but can't imagine those working any different.

Edit:
Tried every control scheme, big and small buttons etc., same result now every time. It's not random either like I said earlier, I can play one game just fine, but once I get killed and then hit start to play again it freezes everytime...

Right. It only lets you change the difficulty every few games.

The third one will be titled The Glorkian Warrior and the Mustache of Destiny

 

Ever think about creating a game book? Perhaps you could "recycle" the media used for the graphic novels? I want a GW hat#

I was bored last night so was looking over my games and decided to fire this up and man am I glad I did. An hour or 2 flew by as I got lost in this by having a lot of fun!

I designed a Glorkian Warrior shirt for MeCAF (the Maine Comics Art Festival, happening this weekend in Portland, ME). It's Glorkian Warrior vs Andre the Giant. I drew Glorkian Warrior (obviously) and my friend cartoonist Box Brown drew Andre the Giant. I think the only way to get one is to come to the festival.

Good Morning, Glorkian Warrior the new album by James Kochalka Superstar (that's me!) is out now.

It's a rock opera about a day in the life of Glorkian Warrior: Joyfully catchy songs about waking up and getting out of bed, putting on your backpack, going on patrol, encountering The Magic Robot, fighting The Magic Robot, and getting sleepy at the end of the day and going back to bed.
