why the hell does anyone care ? in every thread i see people asking - why ? does it matter if you have 74 points more than mr xyz in timbuctu ! just curious....
It seems to satisfy the competitive NERD in me. No one knows, I just like it. Not that I do very well on leaderboards....
I agree. It does matter Also, you can compete with your friends !!! High scores have always been a big part of arcade type games that are based on high scores and now it's just being done so well with openfeint ........otherwise you are just competing with yourself which does not seem that fun or motivating and it won't keep me playing for nearly as long.
I have no friends to compete with because all my friends who have iPods/iPhones are too cheap to buy anything good
All the time. When BoF went on sale for a DOLLAR they still wouldn't buy it. I was like are you [bleep] kidding me?! I feel like I'm not getting the full use out of my Touch because I don't have anyone to play BT/Local WiFi games with.
I am beginning to notice lots of similarities between us. Join date, posts, posts per day, freinds who are losers, can't use BT, etc....
No it does not matter at all IMO. I could not care less about OF, achievements, global leaderboards, Facebook and junk like that. But I want my local high score.
Exactly 1 of my friends even own an iphone, and that's my sister who lives in Australia! Leaderboards are definately awesome! BTW - get a room Shiz!!! jk!
