Hey! I'm the developer behind Pull My Tongue and Fluffy Jump. Lately I've been working on a new project that is very different from what I've done before. I'm still quite early in the development but I thought I would start posting progress from now on. It's going to have a quite abstract/sci-fi art style so I'll start with showing off that and post some more cool stuff as I go
That screenshot looks positively trippy, subscribed What's the game about? The thread title is telling me nothing.
Can't really say much yet since it's still very early in development. But I can say that it will have levels that you are supposed to complete and that it will be one of those "restart-a-lot" types of impossible games where you are supposed to really learn each level to complete it.
"Restart a lot" does not sound like my cup of tea... Usually just frustrating, and I don't have time for lots of replays these days. Can I suggest to include an Easy mode for those of us who just want to enjoy the graphics?
I have considered adding a endless/zen mode to it as well but the main focus is going to be designed levels in easy to insanely hard range.
Tonight I've been working on getting some rough gameplay going as well as fixing up some code to allow for different backgrounds and levels. (sorry about the heavy banding, gifs can be a pain )
So I got some time tonight, started fiddling with another background and added some control to the tiles to handle how they tween in.
I love those tiles falling into place as you progress! That futuristic look and first person aspect look really promising. Can't wait to see more!
I've been cleaning up some code and working on getting a first draft of a designed level in. I've also added so you can fall and die if you miss a tile etc. Hope you guys like it!
Damn! I've been checking in here since last post but didn't realize it had two damn pages so I missed all your comments, hah! Anyway thanks guys, I'm really excited to work on this
Got tired of watching the horrible mockup UI I've had for the last few weeks so started working on a UI style. And I kinda thought a good start for that would be a logo
