Hi Dev, Does Gleam of Fire support MFi Game Controllers? (someone had to ask) if not do you plan on adding it to a future update?
Hey guys. Thank you for leaving the comment. Just checked the thread. The game was made and tested using xbox360 controller and current build do have the codes inside to support controller keys. However, I have not yet tested on Mfi controllers so I have requested for the test. Please do wait if the controller is the decision maker for you. As soon as I get the test result, I will post it here along with temporary gamepad key settings that are coded in the game. - This was actually another update planned for settings if it does work on Mfi but if it does now...why not right?
Hello, @Jean pierre. What did you want to say? You are one of the first people interested in this thread. Perhaps this game supports iOS 8 or later.
I'm really sorry to disappoint you guys but currently MFi controllers doesn't seem to work. Can't promise it will do as the game engine I used might not support it but I will request more information from them and try to see if it is possible to support it.
Okay, that's the second mention of "DxD" and the first time it was in the same breath as Goblin Sword, which when uttered automatically summons me . What is DxD, and is this game being compared to it?
I'm assuming it's Dungeon x Dungeon (https://toucharcade.com/community/threads/dungeon-x-dungeon-by-play-one-inc.318996/) I also would recommend this game!
Even if you do not use MFI, you can fully enjoy the experience within the game that the developer intended. Of course, the pleasure of using an MFI controller can not be overlooked. But I think if you enjoyed this game with MFI, you probably would do a lot of replay.
thanks for the tips nyanpass, you're great! so it isn't a metroidvania, like i thought... i insist on that every time 'cause in this years each holy platformer seems to be a metroidvania... is like people never played or seen a real one, or something caused them to lose their memory... WTH guys, don't you see separated worlds with separated levels in the video??? is there maybe a map of entire game somewhere with all areas connections??? SO IT'S NOT A METROIDVANIA, PERIOD!!! DxD is great, just completed it... that's almost a metroidvania!
I enjoy playing a little more. This is pretty solid. XD Stages are divided into levels, but each level does not simply go straight. You have to solve the mission by exploring the map implemented within the level. I have recently played 'Dungeon X Dungeon' and 'Magical Girl Critical' in similar genres, and I think this game(Gleam of Fire) is also worth trying. :>
Phew, I'm glad that your nice intro video supports my last comment. If you are the normal user, passing this game's tutorials at once is not easy. This game is difficult, but fun. XD

Hope you guys had a great weekend. Thank you guys so much again for the feedback and support. I really can't say enough about the appreciation! I still haven't got answer from the game engine I used to make Gleam of Fire. I couldn't just wait... So I've been going around town looking for place that sales MFi Controllers. Took 5 hours walking and taking public transportation. It really was hard to find one around where I live. Could have just ordered online but wanted to save time. Anyways, finally got this.... then set this up in coding... After bashing my head trying to get it to work for hours and hours.....I'm really sorry to disappoint you but as of now....can't really support MFi until some miraculous message from the engine. Really sad...new controller.... I definitely will get gamepad to work on Android version when it is ready for release. ----------------------------------------------- So there will be a new update is this week. 1) Supports only iOS 11+ Gleam of Fire will now be supporting at least ios 11+ after update. I have been getting few messages regarding issues in some older iOS versions. It seems new games building for iOS are pushed for supporting newest iOS possible. If you did get it and you have older version of iOS and it works fine, please leave a comment before the new update so I can continue to support it. Otherwise, I'm really sorry but please do request a refund and I will assist you as quickly as I can. 2) Bug fixes on the way! Found upgrade deducting 6 stars always for health and mana upgrade...this was actually initial start but I thought it would be easier to upgrade starting with 3. but wasn't changed. Other than that is minor fix behind the scene. 3) Virtual stick option(this update or the next) Choice of using virtual stick instead of directional buttons will be added on options. -------------------------------------- Thank you guys so much again for everything really. I will do my best on making the game better. Really hoping to see some great videos dominating World 3 levels.....(maybe with no upgrades?) Please do challenge it and show your awesome controls! Free Promo Codes are listed on Promo Codes and contest in forum so you can challenge it. If you happened to purchase the game, your review and ratings on the appstore will definitely be a big support Thank you so much again. -Snow Games (Su Min Kim)
Thanks, dev. I try this game. The game is aimed at revealing the hidden fires within the levels, avoiding quite a lot of traps. Fortunately, the enemy does not track the player. If they were tracking players, the game would have been more difficult! There was no problem with the control, and the size of the app is probably 830MB. I did not feel the heat of my phone due to the game. This means that the game is somewhat optimized. It looks like 30 levels are now ready, and more will be added later. It takes about 10 minutes per level. However, this is the case when you pass each level with only one challenge, and the actual playtime is expected to increase a lot. Good!
Thank you such an awesome review! Actually spent tons of time optimizing it...(not to mention endless ways for more....sigh...) I really hope you play throughout the whole end though. There are enemies not only that chase you but throw some crazy projectiles as well as evade and jump. World2 is where the fun starts and World 3 is something more. I really look forward to seeing some gameplays of World 3. It's quite fun to watch other people playing the game. They all fight differently or clear level differently. Anyways, thank you so much again for the comment!
