Hi All, I have recently started a company and thought that this would be a fun way(i hope) to get our name out there. [For those of you who may think we are doing this bc we can't think up ideas ourselves or want someone else to do our work for us, then this is not for you] The logo challenge is as follows: The company name is DARSHIN STUDIOS. The challenge(if you choose to except it) is to come up with a concept or logo design for our company logo. You do not have to be an artist or an expert designer to participate. We are looking for written concepts as well as drawings(that can be sent to email below). If you email a picture please note in your email your name on the forum. Some info that should be thought of while doing this. The word Darshin means to EXPOUND, TO UNDERSTAND THE TRUE MEANING, TO THINK THROUGH, AND SEE WHAT'S BENEATH. The rules are pretty simple. -Submissions for the contest will be accepted until Sunday, July 15th. After a couple of days we will announce the winners. - We will pick the top 2 designs or concepts and they will win a $25 gift card. -The 3rd gift card will be given to the best idea that you, the people, choose. So even if you are not submitting a design, you can vote on your favorite idea. -Contestants can win 2 cards. 1 from us, and 1 by votes. -This contest needs at least 5-10 designs or concepts in order to take effect. I have also sent my logo. At first I figured I can't edit so I might not participate. But there is a site http://logomaker.com/, completely free. Simple to do, make a logo design of your choice and just copy the web link they give you at the end, no purchase necessary. It requires you to sign up at the end but you could use an old/fake email. I had fun making logo of Darshin Studios, playing around with it for 30 minutes or so. Just a heads up for people who want to join
Happens too often here. I only usually enter competitions of big name companies. Sometimes an exception if they have high post count and have held contests before and paid up. I've entered maybe 6 or 7 contests on her (not much) but never won, yet I entered 3 on a big game companies Facebook page and won all three. Be wary, that's all. And when darshan releases his app, spam it with negative reviews
