Yesterday I recieved two 15$ Itunes GC's... and when scratching one of them off, the sticky covering wouldn't go away, so I scratched harder, and what do you know, I scratch straight through the little letters isnt that great?... I looked it up online and it said try entering what you can see (in my case 6 letters) and keep doing that until a link shows up. Well now my account is under review for trying so many times, but at least they took the serial code and are 'Reviewing my request' .... Anyone have a similar experience that can give me hope???
I was angry when i used one once and i scratched the code almost all the way off :/ then i guessed at what i could see.... Sooooo, ya i hate those things! lol
A little trick I learned with those cards is to work your fingernail underneath the sticky film below the scratch area, then peel it off very carefully by pulling it straight back (not perpendicular or at an angle, straight back on itself). Works great every time for me and doesn't mess up the code.
I gave them the serial number on the card, so that should help... and the card seemed to have something extra on it, as I had already unscratched one without having to do anything special. The second one wouldn't come off until it started erasing the letters, and at that point I didn't notice because my hand was in the way, so now I have an almost blank card with a few visable letters.... its just so frustrating
