Great game, love it and it's one of te first platformers I've ever really played on the iPod.
-I agree with the request to have an option to switch the spots of the jump and fire buttons.
-I found it really cool how how hard you press the jump button determines how high you jump. Really neat.
-Is punk not able to jump on monsters?

The unfortunate part of buying this game is that pretty much all my other platformers don't look that good anymore:)

There are two things that need fixing ASAP and I will mention it one more time becasue I almost erased my game last might. Please make it harder than just pressing "new game" to write over your existing game, and add more save files. Also the loading time is very long. The loading time is a minor complaint but it's WAY too easy to erase your game by mistake.

Maybe I should email the dev.

Go ahead and email them. But as I mentioned earlier, if you quit by hitting the home button, the next time you start the game you go directly to the pause screen, where there is no "New Game" option.

I missed that peice of information. I will try that, but I still think this issue should be updated.

    I am #10 now :)

I don't disagree with you -- it should be updated. In the meantime, however, it's probably worth minimizing the chance of accidentally erasing your progress.

By the way, you need to hit the home button from a level in progress, not from the map.

I agree about the loading. It's a minor complaint, but a complaint nonetheless. The loading just takes you away from an otherwise really immersive game world. And I haven't accidentally written over my save game yet, and I'm hoping I don't have to experience that. I'll try to be careful, but it does sound like something that should be fixed.

I didn't know this bit of information, that's really helpful if I need to quit mid level. Thanks.

I should note that it doesn't save your level progress, but it does save your status (if you're in punk mode or not). The key thing is that it doesn't give you New Game as an option.

Oh, it doesn't save level progress? Not really a big deal, the levels are pretty quick, but that still seems odd. When you start the game back up, does it put you at the overworld or the beginning of the level you just played?

But again the fix is really needed because I usually (most people also I would think) like to finish a level and go into openfeint before leaving the game. I would rather not stop in the middle of a level unless I get interupted.

A good piece of info still :)

You start at the beginning of the level you were playing when you quit --I have yet to try it from a checkpoint. As you said, not a big deal, but it would be nice if it saved your level progress.

EDIT: Just tried it - it does return you to a checkpoint. That's actually very cool.

    Which One??

    Giana Sisters or Soosiz?
    Pros/Cons?
    Which one is more challenging?
I tried the lite version of Soosiz, and I like the premise.
    Thanks for the help guys!

I loved the lite of Sooziz but after the first world, it turned horrible and doom and gloom. It was all spikes and death- kinda took the happiness outa the first world! A good ish game tho.
But I'd say try sisters instead.

Anyway, can anyone tell me why this was on TA homepage twice?

    First time: "First Impressions."

    Second time: Full review.

@amateurlife: I probably appreciate Soosiz more than lord-sam, but I agree with the general sentiment.

I'd say "Both" but I havn't played Sisters yet. Soozie controls great and offers a good challenge. I will likely never finish it (I'm not very good at platformers) but enjoy playing now-familiar levels over again.

So...Two Thumbs Up on Sisters or still too soon to tell?
