No, it's really, really not. That is a terrible example. Price drops take place quite often, iPod's are never sold for a dollar.
Hi, I will give you that one. How often do you go into a store and ask for them to put something on sale, same kind of thing here. Or write to the manufaturer and ask them to lower the price? Maybe these are more on point. Btw, are you sure an Ipod has never been sold for a dollar? David
The fact that there was a wink after my original post means it probably should have been taken in stride. You are far too easily offended.
After the update is anyone else getting a crash when hitting the fire button? Playing this on the iPad.
Hi, Hey Terror, not offended, just dumbfounded. As for a sale, there was a temp price back at the 28th of February to March 8th, did you miss it? David
Hi, The sales price was $2.99. If you are new to having an Idevice then it does make a whole lot of sense you missed the sale, happened once, maybe it will again. The sale, that is. David
We have been looking at it but I guess you are playing the iPhone version on the iPad. It was strange for us to look at it as we have been playing the iPad version on the iPad ;-) Now we have been looking into the iPhone version on the iPad as well but there had been no crash on several devices.
This game worked fine on my iPad before the update. After the update I moved the buttons around and when I hit the fireball the game crashes. Even after I reset the controls it now crashes when I hit the fireball. Maybe I will just down load it again. When is the iPad version coming out?
Release time Giana Sisters iPad I am sure you will find the answers to lots of your questions regarding Giana Sisters iPad here: http://toucharcade.com/2010/06/28/giana-sisters-hd-coming-soon-for-ipad/
Yes, a nice $1.99 or $0.99 sale would be cool, or even a $2.99 sale. You could do a sale in anticipation for the iPad release as if you did it on the day of iPad release people may opt to save a few dollars on this, which is unwanted. What do you have in store for us next, what type of game?
Sorry for the thread necro, but I have just rediscovered this one... This is an exceptional game, but I do think it would be a slight help to make the input area a bit larger for the buttons. What initially turned me off was the controls, and while the updated ability to move the buttons around on the screen is greatly appreciated and helped matters greatly, there is still a bit of room for improvement in this area. Maybe make an option to increase the visual/operational button size in the same menu the way Zenonia 2 did? And a flip screen option would be nice too. That is assuming the devs are still interested in supporting the title. By the way, for anyone who's only interested in the retro levels, or doesn't want to go to the trouble of unlocking them in the full version, they can be purchased for 99 cents in-app in the lite version.
I couldn't either, so I managed to fly in the bubble out the door and around to the 1st red gem. Took a long time to manage this! Your other option is to do soft jumps
The game just got a long awaited update. List of changes (from app description): - crispy clean Full HD resolution - simplified menu structure - new controller options Looks like it is now a universal app (the iPad version is still in the App Store and was also updated today). I played it for a couple of minutes and my impressions are mixed. I can see that most of (or all of) the graphical elements have been redrawn. The game looks great, beautiful and crisp on a widescreen, but control buttons feel a bit too small. Controls are fully customisable and you can move the buttons around wherever you want. But I have a feeling the controls are a bit less responsive than before, especially when moving my thumb from side to side, the girl just stops instead of changing direction. Another problem, and a big one - the "retro" levels graphics are totally bugged and glitchy. I will make a couple of screenshots and send them to the devs, hope they can fix the problem. Oh, and another thing - this update erased my save game Anyway, I'm happy to see one of my all time favorite platformers getting an update, but I think there are too many problems with the current version. Just a few tweaks and it will be an iOS classic that is taliored for every iDevice you can get.
