I just hope that Epic decides to make dedicated servers for GoW3. The incredible amount of lag is what drove me away from the game when I first got it. In a recent update, they tried to fix the problem, and it seems to be a little bit better in terms of shots being registered correctly, but it still exists.

This is the best option. Anything else would just be the better of... three evils. You might as well wait for the likes of Crysis 2 and if you want something this year there are plenty more games coming out to choose from.

But I don't know if they'll do it. They've had so many opportunities to figure out that this host based connection thing doesn't work right (RS:V 1&2, probably more) but they haven't done anything. I hope they also make their game engine better (so everything doesn't feel so ... Clunky), nerf the annoying chainsaw, and nerf bots.

Since I barely had any multiplayer games to play with my friends, I picked up GoW2 for $13 (no case or manual included, sadly). I couldn't get use to how weird and sluggish everything felt. I know it's not suppose to be CoD or anything, but I'd mash "A", but if my guy isn't aligned precisely against the wall, he won't leap over it. I'm really hoping the loosen the controls a little and make it flow better.

The A button controls like everything, so you need to be precise. A button is for rolling, going into cover, jumping over cover, picking up meat shields, and sprinting. You should play RS:V2 if you want sluggish. It's terrible, really.

Yeah, I might check out Bulletstorm too, I stopped getting the Call of Duty series since i'm tired of them going back to a era years ago, then switch back to modern.
