Sorry, couldn't find a thread with this topic.

Just read this off Yahoo. I find it interesting..

    Yahoo article

I'm just curious, has your girlfriend (or boyfriend) ever dumped you because you were playing video games for 7+ hours a day?

Obviously he's cuckoo if he's ignoring the fine piece- that gorgeous, independent, hard-working lady that I'm sure has a great personality, but how do you play video games 7 hours a day and still stay ranked at #4?

I have no clue. I can't even play 4+ hours a day on video games but I can hang out on the computer all day. And she does look gorgeous. It's got to be Modern Warfare 2, I guess it's that addicting

In his defense, it's one of his hobbies, and I bet she never gave a damn about it! Relationships work both ways, if she wants him to take her out occasionally, she's gotta be prepared to pick up a controller and get shot in the face once in a while.

His girlfriend was hot as hell...

On average, I play for about an hour a day, and I don't play when my girlfriend is around unless she's playing the game with me. Most girls don't want to watch guys play videos games, or get pushed aside for them. It's as simple as that.

Most girls aren't awesome enough to get into Rock Band. It's tragic.

    lol

I knew a guy in college who dated a cosplayer who was into video games more than he was. Watching him fight for her attention was interesting to watch. :D

    Amen, brother.

    Solution?
    Get a gaming girlfriend.

    Think of all the possibilities...

Or you can save an infinite amount of time by letting her win each round.

Or, you know, your idea's good too.

If i was your girlfriend, and you always let me win, i would hate you forever :p

Then again im the gamer type, and because of that i have gamer pride, not so sure about non-gamer girls..

Well, as a teenager (who got dumped two months ago, but It wasn't a long relationship, and I know you guys will say it doesn't count because I'm a teenager) my girlfriend didn't live with me, so when she wasn't with me, I would play 360, unless she wanted to play Lego Star Wars or Guitar Hero.
As soon as she was round, it would be off, mainly because people are better than video games (but video games AND people are huge fun)

And anyway, andy murray is a prick, so I'm happy about this. He doesn't ever deserve to win a tournament. He plays some good tennis, but not nearly as good as many others and he always looks like a moody twat
