you're welcome. agreed, its a steal for a buck on the arts alone.

  3. Man, thank you so much for posting this video, We have no idea how to do it right.

Mind if we use the video to promote the game around a bit more?

    Cheers to you,

    FK

my pleasure dev. I can't believe that this game was made by game salad. in fact maybe this is the best game ever made by game salad :D . it over more depth in gameplay than it looks.

This coming from another dev speaks volumes! I'm glad to see this game getting the attention it deserves, but I bet that crook Fiquette hates being in the spotlight :D

No way that game was made with Game Salad! Colour me interested now.

  8. Aw man, you guys are awesome.
True, it was made in Game Salad, but it took us 2 years :) Dimsdale broke everything quite a few times, and cursed a lot. :)
And I had a nightmarish time putting the levels together, each asset piece by piece, then cry a little, and then back to it again.
It truly was a labor of love.

    Thanks again for kind comments,

    FK

I know where you're coming from, I've only found a small handful of games made with GS that I really like. This is at the top of that list and really feels good and responsive to play.

  10. I've just seen the review. Very kind of you, thank you very much.

Not kind, just honest :D Are you guys looking into the GameCenter issue?

  12. Yep. I am sure Ros will figure it out, he sorted everything else, just not sure how long it will take him. But I trust he will figure out what went wrong.
Also we are already working on an option menu allowing you to disable grain and flicker effects in the game too.
Problem is that every new build submission to apple takes about a week to go through the submission process. Also Apple does not seem to be great fan of Game Salad software so sometimes they reject submission and then it is back to figuring what went wrong and resubmitting again. Thank you for your interest.

Ferdinand and Louis....congrats! Your "labor of love" has cracked the US AppStore charts! Get_Figuette is currently sitting at #119 in the Arcade category. It's not the best place but it's a start and it's going to get noticed there :) I wish you guys all the luck and success that iTunes has to offer, kudos

  14. It is amazing, and I am really happy!
    Thank you for the info.
This is only to show you how badly we need a PR person, or someone who actually knows anything about charts and all.
We (somewhat) know how to make games, but all our knowledge stops there.
Louis works in a peanut packing factory for living, and I am freelancing from my basement, so we literally have no touch with community or trends, and we made the game completely insulated from the outside world.
I still have no idea what all this means :) but it sounds really good.
Another amazing thing is that whatever it is, it is all thanks to this little thread.
other than this, I only tried posting on Reddit, but my post never got past the spam filters.
So thank you everyone here for your kind words and support. Whatever it means, it sounds awesome!
    Kind regards,

    FK

Left a five star review. This is easily one of the best games I have played all year. The real crime is that a game like this only costs .99.

This may be the hidden gem of the week. I'll find out tonight. Just saw the thread this morning and there are several respected TA regulars foaming at the mouth. Gotta say it makes me curious. Can't wait till I get home and see for myself.

Just bought the 2x doubler to throw some more support at the developers.

My game did crash during insane level 23 but there was an insane amount of stuff happening on the screen.

One suggestion I have is to allow a way to go back to the world map or a main menu, if there is one I missed it. I always felt like a level was starting and sometimes I just wanted to look at what I had accomplished.

As far as I know I have unlocked everything. This game reminds me of everything I loved about the arcade games in the 80's.

Cute game with fantastic artwork and obviously a ton of effort poured into it. It is let down a bit by the Game Salad engine as load times seem long. I experienced a crash in my first and only game after around 10 levels; is the Game Salad runtime a memory hog? I am not a big fan of tap game play but I will give it another go as some point.

Please keep the feedback coming, good or bad. Plus any ideas you would like to see in future updates or even in new games.

Yes, we really should of added in a menu select screen. We will make it happen in GF2.

GameSalad crashes more than we would like it to, but it has been really improving with each new build. They plan to make load time quicker too, but we wanted to get the game out and didn't wait for that update, they can take along time to come out. Neither of us are coders, so its a reel struggle sometimes. If you find some of the other Featured Bugs (you will know when you see them), take a screen shot and post them on line.

Thanks for all the support and please try out the Socialize features in the Main Menu and spread the word via FB and Tweeter.
