    You can still get them. New apps and games will not be "posted" in the app store until after the freeze.

    The freeze is for developers, the won't be able to submit updates or price changes etc. Consumers can still buy stuff.

    They do, which is why I always microwave my iPhone while I am downloading. Have never had a freeze happen.

    Each year I like to put mine in the oven . Preheated of course. My phone lasts longer while searching the freeze. Haha right meow

    You know when you get water in your phone you're meant to put it in the freezer? (Off-incidentally) So a phone in the freezer might not be so bizarre.
