The idea is to make a list of tasks (repeating or one-time) but skip the decision-making process. It can be really hard to decide what to do next, because that takes willpower, which is a limited resource. Unable to choose your next step (especially if the tasks are not too exciting!), you might find yourself on the couch doing nothing, completely unmotivated. Get Task approaches this problem by taking the decision-making control away from the user. Of course, you still need to do stuff, but at least you can submit yourself to fate.
