Hey I recently switched computer and lost a lot of my music in the process. However I still have the music on my iPhone and I was wondering if there was a way I could retrieve the files off of my device and save them onto my computer. I tried using iPhone Broswer but I have 64 bit Windows 7 so it would not install. I also tried iPhone Explorer however the drag and drop would not fuction correctly. My phone is jailbroken so I could ssh, but as far as I am aware you can't use WinSCP with iTunes 9. Is there another iPhone Browser like program I could copy my music with? Or can I ssh with iTunes 9? All help is appreciated

iono what you mean by "you can't use WinSCP with iTunes 9" I imagine that you'd use WinSCP to copy the files to your computer and then add them to iTunes.
But using SSH to copy a lot of music would take forever..have you tried DiskAid?

What I mean is that iTunes 9 like blocks connections between your device and winscp so you can't SSH. No I haven't tried Diskaid what is it?

I tried diskaid but all it does is use the phone as a usb drive. I need to actually access the files in the phone to get the music out. I'll try WinScp again

I'm pretty sure you can access that iTunes_control folder which contains all the music..

Just use Music Rescue, search for a free trial via google. Works like a dream, it copies your movies too.
