Everyone who has an Amazon account go to this page https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/contact-us/general-questions.html?ie=UTF8&browse_node_id=508510 keep emailing them and ask when there going to get the iPad in. I mail them once a day. lol Mabye they will get the hint that we want them to sell it! Amazon = Not having to pay Tax on your iPad!
Surely you have better things to do with your time. I don't see them selling it myself-that would be like asking them to sell Barnes and Nobles Nook.
It is kind of disappointing that they don't sell the iPad. The savings by not having to pay sales tax would have been substantial. Maybe they are planning to sell it in the future; it's not like the Nook or Sony Reader, in my opinion. The iPad has many functions other than reading ebooks.
Well it does read e-books and apple is touting that as one of it's main features, so I wouldn't ever expect Amazon to stock it. If you don't want sales tax try Ebay. If you buy one out of the state there's no sales tax. And honestly if you can get an ipad then paying the 40 dollar sales tax shouldn't be that big of a deal; it's not that much.
40 dollars is fourty dollars. Amazon probably will stock them once there is enough in stores and Apple will send them. Amazon sells iPods.
lol, in Australia 'Sales Tax' (GST) is included into the purchase price so that you don't have to be assed sorting it out yourself Oh and another thing, why do Americans call a handbrake an 'e-Brake'
So I see that nobody reports their purchases on Amazon to pay the tax for it like they're supposed to. Neither do I.
Yeah, well its not like they have a music player that they sell. Ipods dont compete with one of their own products; the iPad does. Its that simple, and it is highly unlikely that they will ever sell it, and sending them a whole bunch of emails will just piss off the person working, so dont do it.
Not having to pay that $40 in tax = free iPad case! Macmall started selling the iPad so Amazon should soon after. That's the way it's always been.
Maybe the macmall will start selling the Kindle, Nook and Sony e-Reader, too. And then pigs will fly...
