Hey Rob! I have a question about the guidelines for custom songs. It will be posible to make different guidelines for different "components" of a song??. I mean, guidelines with different colors, so we can select which guidelines are shown in the editor, and follow an specific component of a song, then, select a different guideline for following another component of the song. I dont know if you undertand what im talking about. PD: sorry if i wrote something wrong, im chilean
You mean a portal that switches the ground and the ceiling so the ground becomes the ceiling? Someone already asked RobTop about that a few hundred pages ago, and he said that it's probably not going to happen because it limits the amount of space you have. Sorry. :/
Just 1 Thing Slightly off-topic, so we can relax before 2.0 comes out. oes anyone else play CoC? Which level are you? TH?
Not necessarily. The wave compatible blocks could easily be distinguished from normal ones by either using a conspicuous pattern, such as stripes, or by having a different colour in general that other blocks simply can't have ( such as gold or silver). RobTop said himself that wave compatible blocks wouldn't be hard to program, it's just that they would be hard to distinguish from other blocks, so once he solves this problem, wave compatible blocks are pretty much set to go . Also, on the other forum, he said he might think about it. As for the big portal, even though the concept itself isn't very original, the gameplay would be. The big cube, for instance, would jump higher but appear to travel slower, due to the size portals not having any effect on your speed. The UFO would jump at least twice its height, which would result in levels where precision and timing is key. Making maps wouldn't be harder really, you would just have to space out the blocks to accommodate the size difference. Still, though, I agree with you on the fact that the big portal could be buggy if not programmed right. It would take a lot of testing and tweaking to make it feel right while also making gameplay fun. RobTop could solve all these problems, though, if he wanted to.
