The contrast might be fun.. Tbh I'm not sure how it will feel either but Robtop can do some testing to make it feel right
It's kind of sad that Cataclysm and Ice Carbon Diablo X are turning into ordinary demons. 4 people already beat Cataclysm, and it will turn into Deadly Clubstep soon enough. Also, Ice Carbon Diablo X will be beaten soon.
"Ordinary." "Ordinary." People are beating them because people are persistent and want the recognition, fame, and bragging rights. This does not make them in any way "ordinary."
Well said. Took the words right out of my mouth Just because people can beat the level doesn't make a level less hard; so I guess Silent Clubstep is 'ordinary' just because Zebras and the other guy proved that it was possible.
Okay, let me rephrase myself: I meant that those demons are turning into Deadly Clubstep more or less, because so many people are beating it. No one could beat Deadly Clubstep for 8 months, from what I have heard, but then one person beat it and now clearing it is not that special anymore. :/ Question time: What do you think is harder, Ice Carbon Diablo X or Cataclysm? In my opinion, Ice Carbon Diablo X is harder because of the tighter ship sections and more annoying UFO parts. Any opinions?
For Robtop: Hey GD Headmaster, if your reading this, I'd like to suggest this for update 2.1: New Effect Portals. I came up with this one in my mind. I noticed that the mini-ship goes up and down faster than it regular size so I thought maybe there could be a series of "effect portals" similar to the Speed Changers. They all could Change how fast you go up and down (not faster horizontally, just vertically). For Ship and Wave you hold it And it goes up faster up and down depending on which Speed you chose. For UFO and Block and "lil, stomper" modes you could just change how high you jump. Also a cool idea I saw on the forums being a "Red Jump Ring" and I thought that was a pretty neat idea. I hope you read this and take this into consideration for 2.1 and maybe even 2.2 lol. Also just re-posting this for anyone who didn't see it before. #
RobTop already responded to the big portal idea and invisible portal, so he won't respond to your comment if those suggestions are in there ( he said yesterday he doesn't respond to comments that he already responded to before). All your ideas are good, though, so remove the big portal and invisible portal and he might respond.
That's so cool! I wish that I could use texture packs about now :/ Mabye I'll get the game for Steam. And welcome to TA, 'Carbonacidcookie'
What if GD we had an orange jump ring which teleports you back (Or forwards) a short distance to another ring that is linked to it, like a channel. To set the channel and link rings you could go in "Edit Object" and set the "Channel ID" to a number, and do the same with another with the same number. Sort of like setting a group ID, except this only works with orange rings.
It can be done in practice, but checkpoints sometimes reduce vertical motion and therefore beating it in practice does not mean that it is possible.
