The answer is a bit technical, but is has to do with how the delay between frames is handled. With smooth fix off the game assumes that you are running the game at max fps (60). On some devices the delta time between each frame would act weird, and would make the game jitter. On a lot of high end devices the game would lag, since the internal timer did some strange stuff. With smooth fix enabled those devices could run the game without any lag. For low-end devices that cant run the game at 60fps it should be disabled. TLDR: Just try it and see if the game lags less I don't want players to focus too much on creating the most difficult level possible. A lot of creators now focus on "I have to create a Demon level". Adding more stars or a new difficulty would just increase this desire (I have to create a "Most difficult" level). Adding more stars has the same effect, "I have to create a 15star demon level). They are also pretty tricky to rate, since it's not always easy to tell the difference between a 10star and a 13 star level. That's why for now I have left it out. I might add it later when I have a firm review system in place that can handle it, but right now I need to keep it at max Demon/10 Lots of them! Not sure what you mean, ask again
Have you ever considered recruiting help with rating levels? I know that people send you levels, but if you had a whole crew it would be far more efficient and more levels would be rated.
RobTop, what if there was a game mode where you can only touch spikes ( or other objects that make you die), and you die on the ground ( or objects that you would normally touch). Any opinions?
I guess I have some more questions, if that's okay.. How do you find the song to use in an official level
Let's try this again XD. Will editor colors (colors that are set while creating a level by the creator, like Col-1, Col-2, etc.) be added as colors that a player can set to their icon? In 2.0 there's unlimited colors, so maybe just the first 4 editor colors? You probably won't understand still, it's hard to put into words.
