First post Hi everybody, I made an account just now but I have been semi-following this thread for a while... Can someone try my first attempt at making a level: "sea of blood" (ID:916434). I decided to make it in the midst of my revision for a-levels (baaaaad idea), so the detail is a bit spartan - but it doesn't need to look good to be a good level eh? I still haven't beaten time machine yet (96%), but I'm pretty sure this is demon difficulty - or not far off anyway. I'm looking for feedback to improve it - I've already removed some jumps that were too precise to be playable... Thanks in advance
Hi RobTop! I found little graphic bug: rainbow trail is displaying little incorrectly when you in mini ship mode.
Robtop - I have a couple of suggestions for future updates: Length contraction (horizontal/vertical) - lengths in one direction get halved. I can imagine it being quite nausea inducing - especially if done repeatedly like an accordion... Screen rotation (this might not look very good though...) Hardcore mode - if we have 'normal' mode, what's hard mode? I initially thought about 1.5x game speed, but the recent update with speed boosts may make it unplayable. Time manipulators - if hardcore mode is unplayable, why not have boosts that change game speed? Black -50% speed, white +50%. These effects don't stack, unless to reverse current bonus. Or something like that Slant - everything on screen gets a 45 degree slant. Reflectors would reverse the slant. What do you think?
Personale i would Arthur want to be Abel to turn objects in creator 45 degrees. But thats probably just me
Hmm... many creators don't play Geometry dash anymore these days in Korea.. Jax,Mask,Deadmau5,Dawn. Jax and Dawn cannot play more, and Deadmau5 and Mask will come back later...(But don't know when) maybe Deadmau5 and Mask will be back when summer vacation season(July~August) comes...
I think you can get lengths in one direction halved. Just move the object to the end of the level/to the upper limit and back.
My guess is a "Race to the finish". People in the "match" has practice mode on and races to the finish. Could be without Practice mode too. Otherwise "Last man standing". The one that dies lose. It's a tie if both finish the level. You can see your opponent's icon/ship/ball/ufo transparently. Or maybe it's just a friends list?
