I know. Back then, Geometry Dash was just this simple platformer game that involved a square jumping over spikes. The user made levels were mediocre, and RobTop had much more time to chat with the community, just like the way he did today, except on a regular basis. There was only one game mode: The ship ( and the ball thereafter in update 1.2). Now, though, there are special effects in any 1.9 level you see, and RobTop doesn't communicate with us as much anymore. It's not his fault, though, the updates have become huge, and it's becoming very hard for one person to handle all the work. Also, Darnoc pretty much saved this thread if you think about it. In the first 50-100 pages or so, there are a few people here and there communicating with RobTop, but Darnoc and RobTop were pretty much the only active members. Without him ( Darnoc), we would still be on page 100 and we wouldn't be having this conversation ( neither between ourselves nor RobTop) . I wonder what happened to him...
I wish I knew about this game sooner And darnoc has moved on to youtube and twitch, he doesn't even post in the other forum anymore :/
You mean RobTop? For the past few days, he showed a trend of being online at roughly 6:00 P.M ( eastern time). I'm not sure if this will continue, though, he really should get some sleep...
Who, Robtop? About 30 minutes earlier than now (Can't say exact because I don't know your time zone) And he usually doesn't go online everyday, but be on the lookout anyway -> gforce beat me here
It's actually fairly simple. When you use a game mode besides the cube ( let's say the ship), you'll still get that anti-gravity push towards the ground. That means that your character, whether or not you are using a ball, ship, etc. will always "drift" towards the other green orb. The other green orb will push you upward, meaning you will eventually descend towards the other green orb. There will be some pretty tight timings with using green orbs with other game modes, though, because while your cube is immobile while it is in the air, the other game modes like the ship can have their paths interrupted by one simple click of the mouse or touch of the screen, and you can bypass the green orbs. I'm not exactly sure how the robot will function under the effect of the green orbs, but I'm presuming it will be the same as the other game modes. Anyhow, these orbs are specifically designed for the cube ( and perhaps the ball), so there's nothing to worry about.
Ship = boosts you up and changes gravity Ball = jumps and flips gravity UFO = changes gravity Wave = Nothin :/ It would be cool if the jump rings made the wave make a parabola motion or something
The parabola motion for the wave would actually be a decent idea, and it fits with the wave game mode perfectly. Make sure to tell that to RobTop next time we have our little evening Q&A.
Damn people, I just checked back and there were 25+ new pages... I just finished reading them all I think you guys should refrain from posting simple messages like "yeah" or update statuses about yourself, like "I'm going to go to sleep now". Remember, this is a forum and not a chat Also, missed RobTroll again T-T
i dont know why but i am the unique person in this formun that dont write long posts :/ bu g-force writes the most long posts, but at least he have many ideas that robtop should notice them
