That's a good thing in a way because lots of people play Btw there is a bug that every time I leave nothing saves so every time I join I load my saved data if I forget I loose everything I did and I need to save when I leave Uhh I don't think I saved when I left a sec ago
Songs are downloaded from Newgrounds, so it doesn't effect the Geometry Dash server (more than initial checking etc.) I will try to allow more symbols in descriptions etc. The social side will be improved in 2.0 but it's also a big focus in 2.1 etc. Server optimization can mostly be done without updating the app. It's more about finding the time and also setting up the server structure. Lots of things can make the server slow, but on weekends there are a lot of people playing and at the same time the amount of levels are getting pretty big. I do optimization and cleanup levels from time to time, but it's tricky. Have some ideas for when I have the time For me it works. Do you mean the first speed setting or the setting in start positions?
Speaking of speed, would there be a way to make speed portals not affect the music timeline, sort of like a trap? eg lets say there is a slow speed you need to jump to get slowed down, but then there is a triple spike, so you shouldn't have jumped. but them the timeline's beats proceed to be clustered together maybe edit object "(CHECKMARK) Affect Timeline" or something. And this may be inappropriate at this time, but can you rate 7360849 demon? yeah its another nine circles level but its a trend xD. easy first, near impossible at wave.

6 months after 1.9, 2 months of steam, so 4 months of 2.0. He says it takes 2 weeks to get levels done, so 1 month for the 2 levels. And 3+ months of programming, and he isn't finished yet. I know why Robert isn`t publishing update 2.0. Here's why: He mentioned that he is making his levels like us - in the level editor everybody uses. He made Deadlocked and/or the other unknown level so difficult so he cannot verify it. Now we all have to wait and hope he will complete his levels and verify them so he can publish the 2.0 update
Yeah! Exactly what I first though of And when I said custom, I meant custom shapes/things particles for Robert to add. Not player... But some of the default shapes for particles aren't as much difficult... :3 But would still delay the update... Also, I thought of adding a feature for customizing the image alpha of the objects in the level. You could make some of them barely visible or invisible. Like those invisible blocks, while the player`s approaching them they keep losing their image alpha. Think that would be a nice feature for demon levels... If it`s not implemented... Could that be useful ?

When you select a speed object there is a checkbox in the bottom right that you can toggle. That will toggle on/off the speed effect on the timeline. It works, but its bugged so it wont auto update. Just untoggle the speed object then move it to see the change. Changing the particle image shouldnt be very difficult, I will check it out. (Probably in 2.1) 2.0 will have object alpha support... There's still a lot of 2.0 editor stuff noone knows about ^^

I may add new orbs in future updates, but probably not with that functionality. Pink+Blue combo might work to get thighter curves, but will need to test it. Green pad will just crash you and modifying the push would have a too small effect. It would be like moving through a gravity portal, you gain speed pretty fast even if you dont jump.
You mean what speeds the current modes are? Coins will need to be verified the same way as stars need to be verified. Unverified levels can have custom coins, and players can interact with them. They just wont be awarded unless the level has been manually verified (by me)
What I actually meant is you can choose any speed you want, instead of just four speeds between 0.5x, 1x, 1.5x, and 2x...
Ohhhh ok. Can only 3 blue coins by added per level? Also, are you planning to expand the teleportals? Like maybe on the x-axis, or... Jeez, the z-axis? Can u go through the teleportals the opposite way too?
