I think robtop being inactive is a good sign. He usually is inactive when he has lots of work to do, or when he wants to finsh something fast
I'm not so sure about insane... There's several orbs you have to miss which will put up the difficulty, plus that little wave at the start has a fairly narrow path, not to mention the fact it goes into triple wave mode right at the end... Also, there's all the new features - the new green orb - some people won't know how to use it at first (cos they didn't see the preview) and also the teleportation portals. I'm gonna say demon 14 stars. Also RobTop is probably aware that many people (like me) would like a demon rather than an insane After all, RobTop demons seem to be about the only ones I can complete
An idea What if you could only rate the difficulty of a level if you've completed it either in practice or normal mode? This would stop stupid ratings due to easy starts and such.
Am I the only person who would pay money for levels, icons or other IAPs? Even if a level was like £5 I would still happily buy it
I wouldn't, the whole great thing about this game is its just... A game! No twists, no catches, it's just like one of your old arcade games. U unlock stuff by completing challenges, and play play play to your hearts extent. This app is only one among a few that does this, and it just goes to show how amazing this game is due to its high AppStore leaderboard, but it's only $1.99!!!
One day me and some friends were talking about how the game would be if it was made by EA (Electronic Arts). We thought all the updates would cost money, and they'd be called DLC's. Like 30$ to get each update. You would also have to pay for access to online levels, like 10$ per month. For accessing mappacks you would have to pay 20$... And there would be a lot of cool icons that would cost 5$. And also, some of the coolest colors would cost 5$ too
Of course. I am also a programmer, and I like when my work is done quickly. But I don't think he's working 24/7. He's also a human, so when the night comes, if he's not tired he replies here... That's pretty legit!
That is a good point, but not everyone has the patience and willingness to grind 20-30 coins just to unlock a demon level. I mean, it keeps the game interesting and the levels repayable, but the amount of coins you have to get to unlock Clubstep or Theory of Everything 2 is kind of ridiculous. In order for me to unlock Clubstep, I had to get all coins from Stereo Madness to Jumper, and complete 10 map pack afterward to unlock Theory of Everything 2. There needs to be some other way to unlock these demon levels other than coins. Maybe complete a certain amount of levels? Since eventually, you'll have to get 50-60 coins to unlock a demon level, and that's a bit unrealistic ( RobTop likes to increase the coin lock throughout levels for some reason). If Deadlocked is a demon, though, it will most likely require 40 coins to unlock, so I guess I have nothing to worry about...
Very good idea, actually. That'd be great! It would force to get the coins BUT everybody would need to wait for new featured levels with blue coins. Enough blue coins
It's not ridiculous at all. You play the game, get better, work toward your goals. If you can't persevere then this game isn't for you
ayy RobTop, random question, approximately what percentage of your day do you spend working on Geometry Dash?
