    Hype!

    The. Hype. Is. REAL!

Also Rob, will the sneak peak show us the function of the new portal? That would be so awesome! But by the time you see this the sneak peak might already be out and you might not have to answer my question... But if it's not out yet I would love if you told the Geometry Dash community! :D Another thing, that's super awesome that you're going to show us the new editor features! But maybe.... just maybe.... instead of a worded change log, you could show us all of the new blocks and icons to us in a video and all the bug fixes and technical stuff in the description! :D Just a suggestion, not a demand :)

P.S. This place is WAYYYY more calm than Facebook! There's a bunch of count-downers and,"COME ON ALREADY, POST THE SNEAK PEAK ROB! No rush, BUT FRIKIN POST IT ALREADY!" people. I mean the logic doesn't even make sense! Post the sneak peak faster, but no rush? What? But yeah definitely staying here  :)

I've just had a great idea! What if there were moving obstacles in Geometry Dash! And I don't just mean objects being lit up using different colour effects, I mean you can set the path of an object of you want it to move. Think of the possibilities! You could maybe have it so you can set them to move in a line (horizontally, vertically, diagonally, or maybe just at an angle of your choice) or go in a circular, or rectangular motion of movement. Then you can set the length of how far the object can move. Then the speed of how it moves - slow, normal, fast or very fast - maybe it could depend on the speed you are going in the level? The objects could be any - even sawblades and decorations and you can set it for a group of objects too, but it wouldn't work for things like starting positions, BG, G, etc. effects or how objects move when they come in screen and go out (basically it won't work with any of the items on the last tab on the build menu.

Maybe i'll make a little drawing or sketch and post it here so you guys know what I mean, if this doesn't make any sense. I just thought that other games like Mario and Sonic have moving things, so why not Geometry Dash?! :D

Fun Fact - I used to draw tons and tons of level layouts for things like Sonic and Mario when I was younger, and since I've played GD ive also made some little sketches of what I want to do in levels I make! :)

If you read all this you get an Internet gold star

Good idea! But one flaw... No matter how much it moves, the moment you encounter the object it will always be in the same place, same way to jump over it. Good idea though, maybe there could be made something out of it!

And also RobTop, if you do see this, let me know if you could do anything with the idea! It would be really cool to have something like this in game :)

It would be cool for effect, but it's not like a Mario game where you can go backwards :p

No no, I don't mean you could go backward if you are on a platform, you would still slide over it if it was heading towards you :) It would just mean you would need to react faster to jump over it... The perfect trap for a demon

It could act like some sort of elevator if you got on a platform that was moving forwards the same speed as the player, and was moving upward too (so in a diagonal direction)

Very true, it's basically like a sitting object, but it screws up your timing. Good idea! I can just imagine 100-star-worth demon levels being created with your idea... Oh god

    Beside you
Uhh no offence but I think obstacles like this could lead to some pretty bad gameplay :I It's kinda annoying having to memorize lots of moving obstacle confusing stuff.

So about following creators, I've wanted it since I came to GD (1.8 LOL #Noob)! It could look like something along the lines of this: The Geometry Dash logo gets moved up a bit, and right under it in the far right is a newspaper icon (Probably something else, but that's the best I could come up with). Whenever a creator you're following makes a level, a little number will appear on the bottom left of the newspaper (Or whatever else)! You would click it, and it would look like when you're checking all of your stats or looking at music composers. It would say, "New Levels" at the top. It would look the same way as if you were looking through your saved levels, with the rating, stars, music, length, etc. Except the background would be the Geometry Dash homepage darkened a little. If there were tons of levels, (Over 10, since that's how many in a page) you could tap the arrow to go to the next page just like normal.
Maybe you could consider something like this Rob? Plus, you could see as soon as you get on the game if a creator that you're following built a level :D Thanks!

and if you could make your animations with a tool for doing that, like the level editor but for animations, so you can use them in your levels :) it would be great :D

    Problem with level editor

I've got a problem with level editor. I can't choose the main speed of the level. When I choose another speed that it's not the normal speed, doesn't work, and go with the same speed (normal)

    Some help? :D
