I can't be the only one entertained by everyone freaking out on Geometry Dash's Facebook page because it's about to hit 900K likes
Everyone on his Facebook creates false hopes and rumors that no one knows anything about. It's actually amusing how everyone gets disappointed and mad at RobTop when he reaches an interval of 50k and there is no new info
Yeah, it's like there's an expectation for update news as soon as it hits a milestone, like just now it hit 900,000 likes and people are like "what! no sneak peek!" Firstly, RobTop never committed to releasing news at milestones, he'll do it whenever he wants, and they can't expect him to release it like 5 minutes after it hits! Secondly, it's now 1AM where I am, and RobTop said he lives in Sweden, which is like 1 or 2 hours ahead of where I live, meaning its like 2 or 3AM! He's probably fast asleep and having nightmares about the people on the Facebook page wanting a sneak peek all the time or having nightmares about numbers because of all the level IDs people post there lol Even I should be asleep now, but dat ain't gonna happen I know that I kinda request things like map-packs and sneak peeks a couple of times, but I think it would be fair to say that I'm not that bad? Compared to the people on Facebook I think that us all on TA are fairly patient Congrats for the 900,000 likes anyways I don't even have 9 brain cells XD
The people on his Facebook are terrible. I check that and read the comments and it feels like a war and I come here to check and I find decent people having polite conversations haha. Btw KFA r u the one who created the flight of space series?
For Robtop: Thank you very much, you know i have already talk to you via email, so you know my name is TheRealFyan, but when I try to search for my levels they doesn't appear, I have a cellphone with one of my levels, and I can play it, but when I search for it it doesn't appear, you said rated levels can't be erased, I had one called "Christmas stage" with 4 stars, I can play it on 'saved levels' but I can't search for it, and when I try to login on my account it says "login failed" I'm "TheRealFyan" I hope you can help me thank you. - Fyan
I agree, however amusing it is to sit back and watch the comment section unfold around a 50k milestone, it's actually pretty sad how they act. I would be really embarrassed if I were them, I don't know how RobTop deals with all the pressure he gets from them! Don't they understand how much work goes into an update? I finally decided to make an account here for that second point, you guys seem like a much nicer GD community than that horrific comment section . Keep up the awesome work Rob! Can't wait for our first glimpse at 2.0!
Yup that was me And I hope to make some more of those levels, but I won't go on about it - I don't want to make it seem like I'm posting a level request, but yes I'm planning for making a sixth and seventh Speaking of terrible people on Facebook, one of the comments I saw was really nasty. I won't say what it was but it was someone basically cursing about the fact there was no sneak peek after like 10 minutes of it hitting 900k likes. Seriously. Why? There's no need for that.
Haha that's so cool flight of space is one of my favorite series plane is my favorite mode. On his Facebook they're just like animals haha its crude but idk how else to describe. I kinda feel bad for robtop. If I were him I'd be angry about all the people kinda yelling at him, accusing him of not working. I wouldn't want to release the sneak peak because then I'd feel like I would just be giving in to the angry fans and just appeasing them. Like RobTop should do what pleases him, make a game for his enjoyment. I'm surprised he hasn't snapped on Facebook with a post like, "ITS ALMOST DONE SHUT UP AND LET ME WORK" but I know he wouldn't haha this is just how I feel
People on facebook are so dumb... Nobody will ever read their comments, play their levels, answer to their questions. At least you can be heard here. Decently
you need to change your avatar. go to your user control panel, and click on the avatar tab on the left, check the option custom avatar and upload your profile pic
You know what - the people on the FB page are complete retards (sorry if that was a bit extreme) not only do they think that the update/info comes at a milestone of likes, but theyre saying that the sneak peek is coming at 1000k likes! 1. Its a million or 1m - not a thousand thousand or 1000k 2. It'll hit 1m likes in about a month and personally I think it will come before then. (NOT 950k LIKES EITHER) 3.Robtop doesn't just make a sneak peek because the FB page hit a certain number of likes (don't forget he visits here, the other forums and Twitter aswell) - he will release it when it's ready I hope this got my view across (I would of posted this over on FB aswell but I don't have an FB account :/ )
Robtop should make the "geometrydash.com" website bigger with:- Texture packs directories with download links and official instructions to use it - Maybe even a GD video sharing center ;D - More advanced infos, sneak peek pics, more recent trailer, etc... - All sorts of tutorials for level creating! (for beginners) OK I know he already has a lot of work with 2.0
