Universal Geometry Dash (by RobTop Games)

I have this one question buzzing in the my head:

Even if you make a really good level, it doesn't get featured. It's very unfair that RobTop only noticed famous players.

Now for the question: How did those famous player get famous in the first place? If there were no famous people before, how did RobTop notice them? Who suggested them to RobTop?

I really find it odd when people complain about RobTop only featuring the "famous" creators. You know why they're famous? Because they make pretty damn good levels. So, my thesis is, it's very simple to get noticed.....create a good level. And, while people still argue "oh, i create good levels yet, im not noticed?!?" Well, I usually go to their level and it's a piece of crap. If you create new, interesting levels with fresh ideas, you will get noticed (TriAxis for example)

^ See? The only time Rob noticed me was when he actually star rated one of my levels (but not featured)

I'd prefer a little update every 2 months rather than a huge update every 6 months...

 

Yeah, I think RobTop should have 2.0 as the biggest update ever, and then go back to updates every 2 or 3 months. I like big updates, problem is they take a while to make

1. A new episode of Gravity Falls
2. Update 2.0

Failed to fetch song info

I uploaded a song on Newgrounds and when I wanted to download it appears "Failed to fetch song info" Is there anyway to fix it?

 

The song you're using is either blocked by RobTop, or deleted from newgrounds. I don't think there is a fix for this

 

The reason why you can't use the song is because you're not scouted.
That mean users that are scouted have to click a button on your profile that says scout this user. Until you are scouted and stuff, you can't use those songs.

Hey, RobTop - you featured a level called Congruent Cave, but there's no stars with it! Is that deliberate or did you forget to add them or something?

 

Wait... What? That doesn't make much sense… The song I uploaded (Temporal Maelstrom) was usable, but I'm not scouted. Was this newly added in 1.9.2?

 

Woohoo! Done 2 map-packs today + completed another 2 levels from other map-packs! I can't believe I managed to do an Insane Map-Pack too!

On the other hand, I'm really annoyed because for some stupid reason I cannot get past 91% on Dorabae-Difficult 4! It's like the easiest Demon in the world and I can't do it!!!

Oh the joys of beating that level, but look at my terrible stats - 179 attempts... Ouch...

 

Any Newgrounds song that was uploaded before 1.9.2/1.9.3 (not sure which) is usable. But now, if you want to upload your own songs, you can't unless you get scouted. But even if you do, it will probably get taken down. This is a good thing at times, but also a bad thing, especially if you want to use songs from an artist that isn't active that much anymore *cough* DJ Harmonics *cough*

And he's also perfectly okay with people using his songs in videos, so I'm 99.999% positive he would let me upload to Newgrounds. But although I gave credit, one of my Newgrounds accounts were banned for uploading a song that wasn't mine ;-;
