The hard thing about dual parts is if they are not symmetrical, you have to focus on both. Which is annoying. But if both are different figures (For instance, the top is Wave while bottom is UFO), then that's mega hard.

Well, DEFINITELY the first, and there isn't enough progress made in the second for me to give an opinion.
Both are good, but in the first one, these ring deco are making the level overdecorated I would say... The second one without the ship part.

I hope you realize that a ton of effects and colors aren't enough for a level to get into featured page, nor star value. What about the gameplay? I know that Geometry dash is a rhytm based platformer. Play with the objects in the editor, something cool will come up. This "rainbow" effect nowdays is cheap and overused. Come up with something new, that way ur lvl will make it in da featured page.
I like it! But I think you could add more decoration. You see to much of the background in my opinion
