Come on guys. Be like how you were in the past without all these post gaps like this. Ik there's a Discord, but make sure to check back here often, too.
I see why you might feel that way, and I'm not against you advertising it in your signature, but again, why is the Discord needed? Thirty people constantly posting random nonsense isn't ideal. Anything over even fifteen people should be on a forum, otherwise posts that are actually worth something get buried under pointless posts. A forum also prevents the constant posting of nonsense. My reason for mentioning Skype was for personal conversations. I think it's safe to say everyone here is everyone who's not in the Discord, so although you're right, you're also very wrong. You think it's stable, but eventually it will crumble. You can say and believe that it's controlled all you want. In reality it's unstable and allows for things that, one, many people don't care about or don't want to see, and two, are irrelevant and cover up the relevant posts. Judging by the moderators' behavior, I can see how uncontrolled it really is. I know you and Sup3p are there, but the people who are there constantly are the ones I'm really worried about. The reason TouchArcade will get a worse reputation is because that Discord is basically used as a place for members to be somewhat out of control. The whole reason I wanted to join this forum was because the people on here don't act super immature and usually discuss relevant and interesting topics that aren't discussed the same way in other places. You can argue the other points all you want, but one thing you can't deny is that the Discord was posted here at an 'opportune' time and it essentially started to destroy this forum. To make matters worse, you have Kronos advertising whenever the issue of the thread being inactive comes up, making that an even bigger problem. I'm not blaming you, but I am saying you were an indirect cause of the 'destruction' of this forum. So do what you please, but I just thought I'd let you know how you've affected a previously functioning community and unleashed another, more 'Geometry Dash community' side of a few of the members who've joined the Discord, which may be hard to fix.
I personally would prefer a private Discord group that you have to apply to get into and meet certain requirements. A player/creator sort of group.
I get past it fine in practice with no checkpoints but its impossible in the normal mode Nevermind, just got past it
