Hey everyone. I've been lurking for a while, but this instance is what caused me to finally make my account. Echo, I know I really shouldn't go against a mod, but I don't think you should have banned Gerald. To be fair, everyone on here is negative towards him for who knows what. He and Splash got into an argument and he tried to solve it without causing more of a problem. From what I can tell, Splash was the one that really came out of nowhere with it, and continued to escalate it until he finally reported Gerald. Sure, Gerald was being rude to Splash, but Splash treated Gerald unfairly, and I don't think what was done was right. I doubt that. You're the one who started this whole thing. Gerald said that you were lucky. He never said you weren't skilled or that it didn't take work to get what you have. I know from experience, luck plays a huge part in what happens in Geometry Dash. You can be an amazing creator and not get noticed by anyone. So, to a certain degree, you are lucky. Gerald never said anything about him being unlucky or terrible, but you still got mad at him. Does that tell you anything? Also, Echo, I mean no disrespect by this, and I understand that the problem was reported, but I think for the majority of things (and you usually allow this I think) you should let us solve the problems. They're usually not hard to solve without banning or kicking or whatever moderators can do. Please consider it? I know I'm new here (although I've been lurking for a couple of months) but I want to replace Kaptain. I feel like, although a jerk, he really helped solve a lot of problems on this forum. I know he proposed leaders, but by the look of it, Bluetoad is the only one that's kind of doing his job.
Tbh it was both of their faults, however I'm not saying your points aren't valid. Honestly I think we should just leave this whole thing alone, it's pointless to argue about it and has been from the start. Stupid drama like this just creates useless spam that really doesn't solve anything. Please. Also, I really don't think anyone should "replace Kaptain" lmao
