EDIT: just found out 2.1 is not for november which means no 2.1 till 2017
I didn't let him join. I just suggested that he could join since we still have an empty spot. Anyways, I remember him asking pretty soon after signups closed, and he was supposed to be the verifier (i think) As for the servers. This is nothing special. As soon as you have access to any part of the server, you can just send the sudo shutdown command and the serer will turn off. This has happened to me a few times when my friends were messing around.
calm down please. gd is gonna be fine. i'm 100% sure robtop is completely focusing on fixing this.. just think. losing your gd account would suck, but if this happens on a massive scale, it would take away his entire career and practically ruin his entire life. i'm sure he knows what he's doing.

Thing is robtop didnt invite decemeber cuz i imagine him having some fun with his family in december with new year and christmas and stuff... so that means no working on 2.1, till next year in january... He also mentioned hes running out of time cuz he wants to have 2.1, metldown and new lite updates till before 2017, but thats gonna be a problem with hackers around... and robtop trying to implement more security systems in gd... so no 2.1 till next year
there's no way that he would just not work on the game throughout the entire month of december. it's a programmer, it's his freaking job. you can't just quit your job for an entire month because of christmas and new years.. he might take a couple more days off than usual but that's literally it.

Yeah but think about it, with him implementing stuff to 2,1 and with crapple going to review that update will take about 3 weeks, and from there it lands on to next year... Plus the 2.1 hype is dead... it has been dead since 1 week after the 2.1 sneak peek of the new level came out...
