Actually, it's because electronic music is what's played everywhere for them. As Americans (who have nothing but trap and pop on the radio), we are always going to be worse than others. With the garbage we have on the radio, we really have no good examples until we start looking for them.
Normally when I beat a level that's hard in my opinion, I would feel like punching a hole in the Sun, but GG anyways xD Nobody in my country in my age group listens to the radio (only trap music, the type like Night Riders or something by Rae Sremmurd), so you should figure that i'm gonna like trap music too xD The thing is though, I was really into dubstep and house etc. at one point, so I know some good music (since everyone else hates trap)
