i'm honestly a little bit scared of 2.1 at this point, like jesus christ.. xD the death animation is one thing, but those freaking platforms are INSANE. the quality of level possible is just gonna freaking skyrocket and i'm not even sure what to feel. sometimes when i see an awesome 2.0 level, i think, "what if i could show this to people back in 1.9? would they even think it's gd?".. at first i thought the difference between 1.9 and 2.0 could never be recreated but i'm actually starting to question that, just looking at the previews THE HYPE TRAIN IS STARTING UP AGAIN BABY!!!! *EXCITED "TOOT TOOT"-ING*

Some things i want in gd: Texturepack support. Tags for levels. MOAR COLORS! More trails. More robots. A function to sort saved levels (sort by rating, completed, featured etc. Maybe even folders!) Being able to stream music. And now an idea: To reduce lag, instead of loading a whole level it should be divided into segments. Lets say a level is 2 minutes long and every segment is 20 seconds long. Segment 1 is always loaded because you spawn there. Halfway through segment 1 segment 2 loads. Halfway through segment 2 segment 3 loads and halfway through segment 3 segment 4 loads and segment 2 unloads etc. This saves memory, reduces processor usage and reduces loading time. I don't know if this works or if its even possible with gds engine, but it's just an idea
