Another one of Kaptain's Rants I know this isn't the best place to post it, and it's off topic, but you guys understand stuff like this. We're all trying to make our mark as much as we can, whether that's gaining subscribers or at least giving someone a memory to remember. For most of you, it's Geometry Dash, whether it's levels or videos. For me it's music. The one thing I think hinders us the most is people who advertise themselves. I mean, think about it. Many of you are as good, if not better than most GD content creators out there, yet there are still people who get more attention for no reason at all. Your levels or videos go unnoticed. Now, it's pretty much the same for me and my music. People who advertise direct attention (to a degree) another way. I'm not saying this would definitely make you more popular if nobody did it, but I'm saying people get undeserved attention and set a pretty horrible standard. I'd like to share with you one of the wonderful comments I've found that does this. (This is my commentary) "Hey Youtubers and Electronic Music Lovers, If you are still reading this, thanks ! I dont have any money for advertisiments, no chance of getting heard, nothing (Well, shit. Welcome to the club). All that's left is believe in my dream (You can still make music while being unpopular. It shouldn't be about popularity). Im 21, house music Dj/Producer from Spain. A couple of things that you might find interesting: The comment has 400 likes and is top comment on one of NCS's pretty popular videos. He's gained 12k subscribers off of this He's been making music for 4 years and is only as good as I was at 5 months in His music is generic and he doesn't try anything new He's advertised multiple times on popular videos. People actually believe that his music is good. Now, if that doesn't make you at least a bit angry, I really don't know what will. I just had to get this off of my chest. I know there's nothing we can do, but I just want to see how you guys feel about stuff like this.

pretty sure that song is about the Mantis Shrimp. not a mantis and a shrimp. mantis shrimps are notable for their ridiculously strong claws, which are able to spear or dismember their prey and can even in many situations shatter aquarium glass :3 overall, they're just the undisputed king badasses of crustaceans.
