I'm sad no one posts here anymore. I love this place. Literally, so little posting... But there's still posting, so there's still hope. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° )
Suh Dude At least its an easier one of his though, and it's not that bad, but he still isn't very good GG
Yeah I agree with you.. RobTop should features more unknown creator with good levels rather than famous creator with bad levels.. Even the level Sysmique Locked by Jakerz95 isn't featured yet, although that's probably the best demon level on GD yet
The worst part is that if a random noob created this level, robtop wouldn't rate it, however just because krazyman is popular and has mod ability, robtop features it without a second thought.
very generally speaking, i agree with you, but i'm just going to point out that complaining about it like this just brings a bunch of negativity to the thread and doesn't accomplish anything if it's a big enough of a deal to you to make you actually want to do something about it, send him a detailed, well-written email about it to [email protected]... he does read his emails afaik
I'm currently learning code too, although I did start the first lines of code of my game (by that I mean less than 100 lines). You an learn code here.
Omg thanks!!! Should I do it on my Laptop, because I have a Crap-Machine for a Laptop... Even tho it's where I will code. I have so many ideas, including my Location for a computer game(Kitty Universe)... Should I make an account, because what else do you use it for and what should I put my Username as?
He's not going to unfeature it. He only does that with levels like Lunar Eclipse. Also, he refuses to rate a lot of good levels too. The thing about that is that it's generally very basic. Also, don't say code. It makes you seem like you're a 12-year-old.
Sure, you could program on your labtop if that's where you'll put it. Keep in mind that it teaches you JavaScript, and that isn't as powerful as Java. Don't worry though, you can still make great games with JavaScript; you can still use text to make characters talk, make objects move, and make up your own controls using the keyboard and the mouse. It's just that with Java, you can do the crazy advanced things such as making the screen move with your eyes, so you could make the character move with your eyes and depend on the corner of your eyes to see the obstacles. That would take a lot of programming though, so I would wait a long time before you do stuff like that and master JavaScript. Just something you should keep in mind. Also, the website only shows you how you can make computer games. That might be because it's JavaScript, and Idek if it's even possible to code a mobile game with it (probably not, but I still have yet to learn). Technically, this is on-topic since code is what makes up Geometry Dash.
Thanks Man! K, I'll try but I'll learn on my IPad... But if I can't I don't know, but the thing is I want to make Platformers and games with stories(Adventure Games)...
I would actually suggest starting out with scratch for your first tries with platforming (to learn how things work, not make an actual game) game development.
I used Scratch for some time and literally got bored and started to dislike it, as its very feature-prone(I men I can't make super advanced things, and the art features are horrible in my opinion.)
It's better than "I'm learning to code." Everyone who's said that they know how to code to me only knows how to do at most basic expression in Microsoft products.
