As this is a rare opportunity these days , I'd like to show you a few questions , suggestions and bug reports. Try to remember about these . However, please try to release 2.2 before the next summer... Suggestions: [A]]Please come to TA more often [ 0 ] I think you should focus more on making official levels now. We really need them, you are a great creator too. To do it either ease up on features, or get a team. You could also organise creator contests in your theme (maybe people would finally learn how to make good gameplay), and most fitting levels could be featured as official... - Also other special official levels would be cool, like short special challenges, XL levels, V2’s (maybe system from .3), also an official hard demon maybe. - Spoiler Some secret levels too. I once had a crazy idea of a secret level which when discovered, haunts you until you beat it (that’s some weird stoof here, but who knows what you would like in GD...) [1] A trigger option that is activated only by a specific object instead of a player. We could create far more advanced things in the editor (fireballs explode when they hit something and many many more similar stuff) EDIT:{Is this the collision trigger?} [2] Some objects that themselves are invisible , but they can interact with colours /properties of other objects. This would allow us to create holes in objects , gradient ,cooler light effects and more [3] An additional V2/alt mode in which you can complete alternative versions of official levels ( and maybe even online , if you add an option for objects to appear only in normal or alt mode) [4] Universal gravity portal ( switches your gravity regardless of what it is when you enter the portal). [5] Ability to change shape of some objects ( mainly triggers and the objects from point 2. ) [6] Inverting search options ( search for levels w / no coins , all non-demons, alloriginal levels etc.) [7] Search by GD version [ 8 ] Unlockable player particles in game. Or maybe some icons could have their own particles. Specifically needed for my level [12] Regarding the challenge mode: - make winners gain and losers get nothing - make sure that the randomly picked level isn't completed or created by one of the players as this would give an unfair advantage [14] If you concider adding a system to rate levels based upon likes / downloads, please don't (dumb question, but just in case) [16] Global stats for levels (How many ppl completed it ( legit if you can ), world record, total attempts, average death percentage). Also maybe add total time spent both on global and local level stats. Also death map on both would be awesome If you can (maybe at least as a percentage bar where different colours represent more and less deadly parts of the level) [17] A way to build before the start of the level [18] The +5, +10, +100, +1337, +whatever buttons in triggers and stuff you told us about before 2.0 [19] A whole new map pack system that you told us about during the wait for 2.0 [20] Pls use the blue dash orb for something, It looked rly cool. Maybe could be a directional gravity orb (works as blue but sends you at a set angle) {terrible idea, I know, better use for sth else lol} [21] For the new app, it would probably be best to pick rated levels randomly (not the best! This would make it too good, so that there’s nothing better in full ver = much less chance to buy it ) and attempts should be global (one counter for all levels), and very hard to regenerate, maybe 1 attempt every hour +one if wathed ad, maybe tricks like for some small amout of money attempt regen speed is doubled. There should be a limit to how many attempts you can have atm maybe, and maybe even max spent for a level. [22]The new currency should be calculated differently. What if there are auto parts in the level, or long beginning? This way ppl could grind currency quickly and effortlessly. What if it would take into consideration the earlier suggested death map, so that the harder the level segment/obstacle the better reward for going past it? Complicated to add I know, but could work in theory... [23] "improve the search on GD? sometimes I get names of levels off by a letter or two, and then the level doesn't show up, eg. I spell colourful the English way, but most people spell it the American way: colorful" -cheeseslayergd [24] Locking online levels like official demons, using coins, or maybe buying them with the new currency (level trading type thing(?) Wow)? Maybe some would be unlocked by beating others? And this could work for copying levels, like inly experienced and trusted players can copy / beat the level to be able to copy it. Could you go search for it for me? 5) Will you be able to forecast the exact release date of 2.1 like you did with meltdown? 6) On android, when smooth fix is enabled, the music sync is off. 7) I have seen what you have been able to do with the server (and how mgostih messes with it), would it be possible for you to set cataclysm to 15 stars and bloodbath to 20 stars, because anyone who beats them deserve something extra due to their difficulty. 8) I can not view level uploaded, and level updated times/dates in the level info on steam. 9) I have been able to jump off of blue rings like they were yellow rings. (only on steam so far) (unable to remake it on purpose) 10) There has been a bug in which while I was editing my level, and was going to playtest it, the game crashed as soon as I clicked save and play. After that, the level was never openable in the editor ever again(it was playable though). I tried many methods such as saving and loading data, uploading and copying the level, and uploading and having other people copy the level. The game crashed every time the level editor opened for that level. 11) There is a bug where it is possible to remove the end portal(the level is still beatable), please do not fix this bug as I use it to make credits and different end portals. 12) There is a bug that allows a level to be verified without collecting the user coins. (https://youtu.be/c23-Kn7jF0g) 13) A lock to player 2 x and y in the move trigger. 14) Is there any progress on fixing the move trigger glitch? 15) Can you make it so that when you click on the demon amount in someone's profile, you can see which demons they have beaten? 16) I have an idea of how low detail mode can work, the images are attached below, but here is the explanation: A) first the creator has to go to one layer left of "All". That layer is called "Low Detail" B) the creator places the triggers such as toggle and alpha in the low detail layer C) on the level screen for the creator next to the info/verified/coins it will say low detail mode enabled D) The level creator chooses whether to verify the level with or without low detail mode enabled E) When the level is uploaded, if the check box is checked, it acts as a spawn trigger by making all of the triggers on the low detail mode layer get enabled. 17) Would it be possible to add pre-level start triggers? 18) Where are the other 19 map packs? 19) My game runs at 59fps, but it acts like 60, and my framerate drops when I play levels without enough objects on the screen at once. 20) It is possible to enable both touch triggered and spawn triggered at the same time. A) First have a trigger set to touch triggered. B) Have another trigger set to nothing. C) Use swipe and select both triggers. D) Choose spawn triggered in the menu E) The initial trigger will have both options selected. 21) Can you make it so that the game can tell you the length of the song when downloading it or when in the editor? 22) If you have even read this far or just got attracted by the lenny: Can I be mod? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) 23) There should be a "good coin location?" button when rating levels. 24) I found a "speedhack" bug, but what it really is doing is locking the fps to a lower number like 40. So far I have only been able to do it on my laptop by opening geometry dash while on battery, plug in the charger with geometry dash still open on the screen(fullscreen). The screen flickers black a few times (switching graphics cards automatically) and then geometry dash opens back up with the fps set to 40 instead of 60. I am not sure if this is just the laptop or geometry dash. (Alt-Tabbing out of the window fixes the fps) 25) How and where are the servers hosted? 26) Can there be negative song offsets because some songs start right at the first beat, and I want to make gameplay from the beginning of the song otherwise it seems strange. 27) Do you work in 2 companies, and does your company have more than one person?
