RobTop just completely forgot about Touch Arcade, and I have a post with suggestions, questions and bug reports which waits there on my clipboard for a I-don't-even-want-to-know-how-long
You should also watch my latest video! This is my latest progress on ShowTime! If you want SneakPeek 2, check out my YT.
Here's a preview the layout: https://everyplay.com/videos/33410941 It's not much so far, but it's going to be difficult. I think it's the hardest part will be making it easier than Yatagarasu.
Only problem is: 2.1's release can be unpredictable. What if RobTop secretly submits the update to Apple while I was working on my level? Oh geez. I'm halfway through with my level, and I need to finish it before 2.1 comes out. I'll still be happy once it comes out. So I can have an overload of ideas.
So, I decided to recreate a bossfight from the 1999 Space Invaders game: Skip to 4:10 to see the original fight in this video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=BjLJqLCIdKI And this here is what I came up with (just a preview, nowhere near complete yet ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wlji1fbKjsg Compare the 2! Let me know what you think Anyone else played that game too? It's one of my all-time favourites since it has such good, catchy soundtracks that I don't think any music today could ever beat IMO
Awesome! Looks pretty cool! I suggest some of the basic movements more smooth, maybe have it away up and down slightly. Happy 900!
Random Idea What about a trigger that changed the cube, robot, etc. To what you wanted as far as color and which ship, cube, etc. It is for a specified amount of time? This could be used to force the cube to fit better with your levels color and deco, and has evil potential as well
No, because then colors and icons would have no value whatsoever. It also wouldn't have evil potential. It would just ruin some major aspects of the game.
I was thinking about that, and keep in mind that this was a thought I had upon waking up this morning, so it still hadn't been thought all the way through. And by evil potential I meant certain colors blended with others would make the cube near invisible
Well, first off, there's an outline to the cube if you have glow selected. Second of all, there's an automatic glow for black mixed with black. And you already basically can make the cube invisible with blocks on the top layer.
