Wasn't this update supposed to come out in like, January? I havent done anything on this game in a while... nothing new
Robtops last activity was in may...

 

It was actually supposed to be before Christmas. But RobTop redid the update, meltdown took some time from it, and bugfixing is taking forever.

 

Why was it redone?

 

He apparently didn't like how it turned out.

 

Is the ship part too bright or not detailed enough etc...?

Will there be a new type of spike?
I guess so. There will be a spike with base color on the bottom and detail color on the top. Also a third tab called Outline lets you change the outline of that spike.

Your guess for the release date of Geometry Dash 2.1 is:
August 20, 2016, on the last day of my exam. Screw you, 2.0's first anniversary!

August 20th? That means RobTop has to submit it within the next 3 days and hope that Apple reviews it fast. I hope it comes out in September. That way my level has time to get popular. (Hopefully featured) and then I can actually have fun with the update since I would've been in school for around 2 weeks.
