Are you deleting all of the files? Delete the files in the steam/steamapps/GeometryDash and %appdata%/local/GeometryDash (the second one might not be on mac)
The Reason Why Bugfixing is Taking So Long I bet 2.1 is taking so long to bugfix because there is a shitload of new triggers, and I bet triggers can cause lots of bugs. Like maybe the rotate trigger has a rotate speed, and when the creator sets it at the speed he wants it at, it goes a bit faster or slower. Plus, there are two new systems: the currency system and the daily feature system. These probably have bugs in them as well. Also, keep in mind that RobTop said the new blocks will be hard to build, so don't be surprised when to try to build them (although I think he said he would add an auto-builder, so I guess you could use that). Maybe the auto-builder isn't building things right, and RobTop has to fix that.
Ok, it turns out people are now saying that the picture in which robTop states "2.1 is not submitted. Stop being trolled" is a fake picture, and that 2.1 is actually in Apple... I don't believe this, but i find it funny some people do... but it would be funny if it turned out to be true... Only time can answer that question xD
Sigh. Ever since krazyman edited and posted the Y0AM2 picture, people are believing that some pictures are fake. It use to be where you can just show a picture of RobTop confirming something and people would believe it, but nowadays, it remains a mystery on whether it's true or not. :/ Even though it's most likely real (RobTop saying 2.1 hasn't been submitted), I hope it's fake.

Everything that is about 2.1 and stuff like Rubrub having Discord and 2.1 not submitted is all because of the whole thing called "inspect element"
