Rob says he hasn't decided on the currency for the shop. What if it were based on attempts? Every attempt there could be a chance of getting one aD (attempt dollars, or whatever he calls them) and you could spend aD in the shop for icons and such. Maybe the longer you were in the level, the more jumps, harder difficulty, etc. you get more aD to prevent grinding for attempts?
This will cause Guitar to rack up too much aD when he gets epic fails at 90%+! How about: GeoBucks? My idea of the new currency would be GeoBucks, green square-shaped coins. You earn them in some tasks like completing achievements, completing user levels (based on stars and coins earned), and probably in daily bonuses! Then you can spend them in the shop for new death sfx (I want it!), new icons, ships, and more!
