    so i'm trying to update my level Altitude based on the suggestions i got on gdforums (http://gdforum.freeforums.net/thread/15563/altitude-splashgmd-me)... i totally redid the ugly ufo part at the end, but i also need to change the spikes in the second section and add a lot more deco to the wave and swingcopters parts. trouble is.. i'm totally out of inspiration ;~; halpppp... does anyone have any suggestions on what to do?


    (I feel like half my posts are asking people to give me advice on levels...)

    Maybe make the spikes look sort of misty. You could do that by using a load of non-blending 'stars' (like the ones you used at the end). Also maybe use some sort of parallax effect in the swingcopters part? Idk, just a couple suggestions, you can ignore me if you want I don't mind lel. Awesome level btw :D

    I'm so sorry for continuing this, but it has to be done.

    Lines would be cramped if they spammed the lines during the guideline thing where you click/tap to create lines. My point is, it will be harder to tell which line is from when you are moving forward from when you are moving backwards, and when you are moving back forwards.

    Just because a CC is about to end, it doesn't mean that a person can't fix things. As I've said, my theoretical concept is a simple process involving a block, two object IDs and three triggers. It isn't that hard to fix. Even if the creator is rushing, he can at least spare a minute or two to fix that.

    Actually, you probably didn't even understand my concept. The level would rotate around the invisible block, and not around the player. Also, I didn't say that the level would be spinning. To help you understand, let's make an analogy to the relationship between the Earth and the sun. The level will be revolving around the invisible object, but it wouldn't be rotating at the same time. I hope you understand.

    About the dizziness thing. You have no idea what you're talking about. So many levels revolve around making others dizzy. Nine Circles. Then levels like Theory of Firepower. Also what makes you so sure it will make people dizzy? And also, since when was this debate about my concept? It's very theoretical, and you're making yourself such a hypocrite by trying hard to shoot my idea down, when you want others to like yours. Please.

    Wow. I'm not sure if you know this, but the masculine pronouns can be used for a gender-neutral third person pronoun. Don't call me rude, because I know what I'm talking about.

    I'd say everything KaptainCPU said to you, but you're not open-minded enough for that.

    I've already seen a player named "loserchik67", she's a female GD player.
    I was doing the wave segment in the copyable old version of Cataclysm that I have. AND I DISCOVERED IT WAS KIND OF EASY! (I'm not sure why)

    I hope people will understand the vehicle better now :)(sorry it took so long, I just had to do something and take a shower, and making the video took some time). BTW, sorry about the lag and the poor music quality.

    Ignoring the people who replied to me saying that the vehicle shouldn't be added in the game because trust me, this video will cover everything now that it's seen in action (although you probably can't see the annotation about how the lines in the editor act and how the vehicle acts with blocks and slopes, but I explained that here anyway ;)).

    C'ya all in about 8-10 hours or something like that (although I will read replies to this post when I get back).

    NEW GAMEMODE IDEA: The Plane
    I have an idea for a gamemode that would be like my idea about the Drone. The plane will travel in a straight line. If you tap and hold, you will go up! You can release to go back to moving in a straight line. If you tap again, you will go down! (I have a feeling this would make some really insane demons. Watch out!)

    Portal Color: Plasma Green (Not to be confused with the cube or wave portals!)

    AND ANOTHER NEW GAMEMODE IDEA: The Train
    Choo choo! The train is a combination of the robot and ball gamemodes. How does it work? You will tap and hold to increase the height of your jump, then release to jump! Your jump height is based on how long you hold. HOWEVER, there is a catch: There is a max limit for the jump height. I think the limit for your jump height could be 4.5 blocks, that's slightly lesser than the jump height you gain from a yellow pad.

    If you manage to hit the ceiling, you won't crash - instead you will latch on to the ceiling as if you were a ball! This even happens if you hit the ceiling with jump rings or pads. With gravity portals, pads, and rings, you can change the gravity and latch yourself onto the ground again.

    Portal Color: Steel Blue (To elude confusion with the wave portal)

    What do you think of my gamemode ideas RobTop?

    You're not accounting for the level moving. You'd hit the object when looping. It's basically pointless. You'd hit an object and die, no matter how you put it. Unless it was moving, it would kill you. I already said that the level wouldn't stop. In the video, when the mini one went around the object, it was going way faster than the level. Also, what if you hit the ceiling? None of the other vehicles kill you when you hit it, so to follow gameplay patterns it wouldn't kill you. So what would happen when you hit it? Another thing to point out, no other vehicle has a locked Y position. Whenever you stop tapping, you go back to the main screen. This vehicle would basically break all gameplay patterns previously introduced. I also love how Rob stated one of the same points I did. "It would require going backwards."

    (Another thing to note: The gravity portal does nothing. Looping in a different direction changes nothing.)

    Like Noobricks, your ideas have some holes. For the first one, it doesn't follow regular gameplay. No other vehicle has a locked Y position. Also, it's basically a wave. You can do the same things with the wave.

    Your second idea also breaks regular gameplay patterns. Why not just use the robot? It does the same things. The inverted controls is a really pointless idea, and it makes no sense. Also, you can achieve the same effect as the ball with gravity portals near blocks.

    Both of the ideas have the same color portals as other gamemodes. Adding another word like "Plasma" or "Steel" doesn't change the color. It's still blue/green. Everyone needs to think about the gamemode ideas that they're coming up with. When Rob finally comes on, I really don't want people to bombard him with retarded vehicle ideas and make him want to leave. I can almost guarantee he'll say the same things I did, just toned down a bit.

    If RobTop may come with another gamemode idea he made for GD, what would happen to the color choices for portals? Too limited, right? If you said that adding words to colors doesn't change anything, I'm afraid that RobTop will soon run out of ideas for colors of portals. So, I would suggest that he could use colors like brown and black to make up for this.

    I'm starting to run out of ideas for new gamemodes. Remember when spider haters say that the Spider is like the ball? Pure awkward for me. So I guess it's time to say that the only acceptable idea for a new gamemode is the Swing Copters one, as well as the ideas for the Pogo Stick and the Drone. (In short words: Pogo Stick is like the "Trigonometry" world in Dash Till Puff, and the Drone is the same mechanics as "Techno Reactor" world in DTP2.)
