Anyone know how to easily make a glow effect on this type of slope? I tried loads of times but just can't seem to get it right.
Not really. It's just another thing that makes people lazy. Seriously, how hard is it to use two triggers?
I thought there was suppose to be a mini wave at that one wave-spam section where it kept transitioning between the dual wave and the normal wave. Did it get three annoying five you?
Complete joke Geometry dash 2.2 update log: - New Gamemode: Plastic bag Let the wind control you and hope it dosent blow you into a spike. Jk its a complete joke xD
It's not really lazy, it's more keeping organized, like the spawn trigger. Sure, both can be done another way, but with them, it makes some complicated stuff way easier. And plus, easier to make effects = better levels = more good creators.
It really wouldn't be that much easier. It would save maybe 10 seconds. Also, no. It's not going to make people better at creating. It's a pointless trigger that would just add extra hassle. You'd have to set the range and everything and re-test it. It wouldn't be more organized than having just 2 triggers doing the work.
Well if thats the case, then we wouldn't need the Count trigger either, because we can just do that with a combination of toggle triggers, spawn triggers, etc.
I really don't think you guys get it. It's something you can easily do with two triggers. You really don't need more than that. On the other hand, the count trigger (something I'm not too hot on) would take many triggers. There's different levels of complexity. You're not thinking this through enough. Also, anyone have any Tropical House song names?
That would't fit with the mechanics of the game. It's designed to have your character be in one specific X position. To have a vehicle like that, the character would need to move forward or backwards. Also, you have to think about what it would do with all of the portals. Mini? Dual? There would also have to be a way to move up or down so you can go to basically any Y position on screen. Otherwise, a few of the rows of blocks would become pointless.
Okay, so count triggers would make it easier for you. Leave option would make it easier for me. I had this example of why I want it, but the video isn't uploading, so let's just say this. What if someone's making this level with the effect I came up with, the effect uses many triggers. (6 per 2 blocks when scaled to 2.0) and that goes on for, let's say, 1000 blocks. The triggers alone take up 3000 blocks. If this person had 38,000 objects with all the detail and is trying to stay under 40,000 to avoid a warning on his level. He would be able to make it UNLESS he had the leave trigger option.
