I wonder what the currency units are. Like, do you earn dollars when you get a certain percentage in a level?
Nice! I'm barely even done with my 6-minute level. I'mma slow creator. Yeah I saw that, but I'm wondering what the units are. Because RobTop just says currency value instead of dollars, or coins, etc.
It kinda turns the game into an entirely new thing, which in its own ways can be distressful and helpful. I kinda dislike it as well, but we're just gonna have to wait to see what it is.
Why? What if you are playing a really hard demon, and get really far into it? At least you earn something rather than nothing. It'll get players more motivated to beat levels. OC, everyone has their opinions, and I personally like it. I just wanna know why you dislike it. "Soon."
It's just that, but there's already so much rewards you can get from levels. User coins, stars, and, in the next update, diamonds. It even records how many demons you get. Just the normal secret coins, too. And those are permanent, unless, of course, you use hacks or don't save your data. Now, with this, there is going to be another thing to keep track of, and it's not completely permanent. I might not even like the icons, so it might end up being useless. And in such high quantities being rewarded, In just 50 demons, you get 500 stars... And 37500 of the new currency system. And since it's based off of %ages of the levels, it's suuuuuuuper hard to keep track of. Also, I don't think it would get them motivated to beat them. What makes me wanna beat a level, is those awful fails at 95%. If I was awarded currency for that on Horizon, I already got a big reward, it would just make me less motivated. And of course, every level is different. Based on lengths and difficulty, and intros, etc., It just seems so unorganized. I really just hate the idea of a non-permanent reward. It just doesn't feel like geometry dash.
So guys, what's new? The last thing I saw were his posts here and on skittens stream. What's this currency thing about?
