I'm making a XXXL level (6 minutes) in 2.1 as well. The song is 5 minutes, but I'm just gonna leave the end silent and put in some text like, "This is the end of you're journey," or "You're almost there!" etc. etc. I'm setting it up right now.
Cool. What's the song name? Or are you keeping that a secret? I've been setting up a while the speed portals in my level to make the drops fast, but still able to use the whole song. I managed to get it up to 5 minutes and 7 seconds. A difference of 3 seconds is as close as I'm gonna get it.
RubRub has been really inactive lately...I guess that's a good thing since that means he's working full time on the update.

Scenario Switch. It's a pretty good long-song, except for this tune that keeps repeating over and over and over again (although it doesn't repeat it throughout the whole entire song, so don't worry. It's a good song. )
