I asked him about it when he was on a couple weeks ago, and he said he would release the update and sneak peek with no warning, just when they are ready. No release dates.
first three yes but the others is a result of you beating the other levels so they feel easier to you. also with 2.0 logic basically all of the levels would be normal and the demons would be harder so yeah
Back in the days when I started to play (in 1.6) the difficulties were: Stereo madness (Easy) Back on track (Normal) (this stupid Back on track is Impossible joke didnt existed back then) Polargeist (Hard) Dry out (Harder) Base after base (harder) Cant let go-Theory of everything (Insane) Electroman adv (Harder) Clubstep (Demon) required 20 coins. Back then Clubstep was like the hardest level in GD that only Alexpain24 and Darnoc had completed. Until Neptune delivered his V2 Back in the good old days! I sound like an old man xD
I remember Alexpain's 60% progress vid on clubstep where he said that he wasn't sure if he was gonna be able to beat it, good times
I reckon that would be a feature-worthy level, it's really cool so far, great job! But yeah, hitting the object limit would be a pain, so try to keep the design fairly simple in some sections, with only a little deco, and then if you have more space later, maybe go back and try and add more in. Sometimes what I do with my levels (even though I don't usually go above 20k objects) is after I've made most of the level or a section, I will remove any unnecessary objects or even little 'test' designs I make a put above the section I'm working on as a reference. So I was just thinking to save you a few objects, maybe in the dark monster section at 0:16, try filling in some of the black triangles with scaled objects that are as big as you can make them, so 2x the size. If you did that one each of them that would help save some objects, and you wouldn't notice the difference You could also do the same in the coloured block section after that too. Since a 2x scaled block is technically the same as 4 of the regular size, it's a pretty good thing to do EDIT: You could probably do that at 1:22 in that ball part as well Hope that helps, let me know if you want me to explain further or if it didn't make sense Btw are you aiming for Demon difficulty, because I think that it could get that
I had one idea for a troll level, you create an almost impossible level with no blue orb, try it on practice mode, and at the final of the level (like 96 - 98%) put a blue orb, make the bug of turning to normal mode and hitting the blue orb and put a secret way up there. >:]
Thanks! I can definitely scale some of the objects, I did with the last ball part but didn't think to with the start I was hoping to make most of the level fairly simple, except the drops I was going for maybe 8-9*, but it'll probably end up being demon lol
I remember I spent the entire summer (1.7) on trying to get through Clubstep on my ex iPhone 4. Tried to complete it while I was farming in a lot of attempts. And I then got 93% in 1.8, finished it in 1.9 in December. 7767 attemptd -_- Hey thats a pretty good name for a Demon/insane level: Attempt farm or Attempt generator. And remember the rating system back then, it was really messed up. Auto 1 star Hard 2-5 stars Harder 5-9 stars (with only some 7-9 stars levels being Insane instead) Demon 10 stars. One time I even found one level that was Insane 5 stars. Easy and Normal was extremly rare to sed and there was no rated levels with thoose difficulties (maybe there was Normal 1 star) And Easy was so rare so sometimes there were no Online levels with Easy difficulty, (making The main Stereo Madness the only one to have that sometimes) There were also unrated auto levels back then, there are still some but not from 1.9 or 2.0
