In light of what happened today, i would just like to say some things. Ok, odds are, this is an april fools joke. But if its not... then that would be stupid. I would put that in other words, but lets stay professional, shall we? "Skipping" to 2.2 would A. Make no sense and B. Totally destroy this community. I can tell you I will straight up quit before 2.2 comes out if this is true. Im tired of getting these updates that are labeled "BIGGEST UPDATE YET!" we have had at least 2 of these in a row (idk about 1.8 or whatever, i came late 1.8) But as i have said, this is probably an April Fools prank. But one thing has come out of this that has made me go ballistic. Its the community itself. People are sending hate to robtop, spamming him with messages about "RELEASE 2.1 FIRST! BECAUSE MY OPINION MATTERS MORE THAN YOURS!" It's not your game. YOU don't make the decisions. RobTop does. So, why are we spamming him with messages? Is our intelligence REALLY that low? Are we not even going to wait to see if it is an April Fools joke? ... I just don't know what to say. If this is real, the community is already more screwed than it already was. Which what this event has showed us. We need to grow up.
RobTop's not releasing 2.1 apparently, but it's probably a troll conspiring It's April fools, heck, he may have even already submitted the update, so when it's over he can say "Lol just kidding guys, In fact the update's already in review!"
Guys, it's probably a hacker pulling an April Fools joke on us since it's April 1st in his/her time zone.
i have an addition to my post. RobTop tells us that we don't deserve 2.1 because of all of the hassling we have been giving him. (we being the community) Why, may i ask, do they people that haven't been hassling deserve this? Doesn't make sense. And tbh i think that WAY more hassling was going on in 2.0 than 2.1, but i haven't been on TA in awhile so i wouldn't know. This just goes towards it being a joke. I don't see RobTop doing this because of what we have seen of his character. Or it could be true. We just have to wait.
Probably. I bet RobTop got as much, if not, more hate while making 2.0 as/then this update. He didn't do this back in 2.0. So it could be a hacker who's either pulling an April Fools joke, or just a hacker who likes trolling. Or maybe his post was really him and he wanted to do that to teach everyone a lesson. Except I think it's not right to punish EVERYONE. But people do that. Like teachers punish the whole class just because of some troublemakers. Sometimes, life can be unfair
Ok guys, since all of you don't get this (And only I apparently understand reddit), I will explain why the Robtop canceling 2.1 is an April fools joke 1) Going to reddit.com/u/zhenmuron (which is Robtops reddit and the account the message was posted on) does not show the fake post. 2) If you go to https://www.reddit.com/user/meganukebmp you see the post that was 'posted' from rubrubs account and text that says IF YOU SEE THIS DO NOT SPOIL THE JOKE (sorry guys...) 3)Robtop wouldn't do this In conclusion we all need to calm the f**k down and shut up. (I also posted this to reddit.com/r/geometrydash)

If RobTop's not lying, it's been well deserved. This community f***ing sucks, they've been hassling Rob, spreading hate, being s***heads... Etc.. Everyone needs to calm the f*** down, let RobTop finish the update, and it's over, we will be entertained with way more than enough stuff to keep us enjoying the game until next update! Pardon my French! :O
So, this is pretty much confirmed to be a joke. Either it was badly timed, or it's just a joke (might even be in review now!)
