Yes, as the mods have shared with you, I am delaying the release of the new version of Geometry Dash.
No this is not an "April Fools" joke, just bad timing.
I did not feel like the new update was adding something unique and fun to the game. And I also did not feel like you guys deserve a new update after all the hassling I received.
I will skip a version and go directly to 2.2 which will be released around the middle of September. It will contain major overhauls to most of the game including new systems for sharing levels.

Guys, I think this isn't an April fools joke, although in Sweden is 00.46 ATM. ZhenMuron aka Robtop is modded on that site. This means he is the real Robtop. The problem is that community has hassled him a lot for this update.The community is growing a lot for a mobile videogame and RobTop, as you know, is only a person. But we will see in next hours and I'm hoping that Robtop comes here to explain better his decision

 

RubbermaidTupperware said he'd added 4 new orbs and 2 of them were modifications of another orb (I'm pretty sure he said that but someone deleted the entire 2.1 page on the wiki). I think the 2 new ones will be like the yellow and blue portals, but in orbs. One will always make gravity down, and one will always make gravity up.

No idea what the 3rd orb does. Maybe it's like the robot mode, in an orb. The longer you hold after you jumped on the orb, the higher you go.

Also I think the trigger orb should probably be colorable, like you could assign it a color like all the other blocks.

What do you think?

Guys, this is most likely an April fools prank, RobTop came over to streams only a few days ago telling us about new features, he even came here yesterday! Do you really think RobTop'll give up on the update now when it's presumably close to release?

if he hadn't said that, i'd be 100% sure he was trolling
