I don't mean levels that look like other games, I mean that you will be able to use triggers to create new styles of gameplay.
1. That post relates to another game, and should not be posted at all in this thread. 2. The end of the post wasn't a great place to put the fact that people who don't play Undertale should not view the spoilers.
Rant Rant Okay, so there's a ton of stuff coming with 2.1, and I'm not sure how to feel about it. I used to play the Little Big Planet seires, which had a super-complex level creator with a ton of triggers, and people made really amazing things, and I could never figure out how. See, one of the greatest things about this game is it's not super hard to figure out how a creator created what he did. Unfortunately, I feel like this game is starting to get too complex. I mean, we'll have 7 modes, 7 orbs, a crapload of triggers, and a bunch more portals. I feel like we're getting to the point where it will be way too hard to get a feature just because you have to master the use of these triggers and how to make these brilliant stunning effects. It's already started to become a problem with 2.0, and all this new stuff won't help. I don't want to have to work for 2 months on a level just to get a feature on it, and I shouldn't have to. That's the issue. I feel like the game is getting too complex and growth needs to slow down. I don't think we need another mode until 2.5 or 2.6. Anyway, back to LBP, I could never figure out how to use everything. So I just stopped creating levels, it was too intimidating. And I'm worried that's gonna be what happens with new players. They're going to see the editor, look at online levels, instantly go "Nope, I can't do that" and not create levels. That's what I'm worried about for this game and future updates, and why I don't like all these new triggers/orbs/whatever in 2.1. Well, that's all I have. What do you guys think?
Yes I see what you mean, and I agree. There shouldn't be too many new modes for a few updates, or let's say until level 25. By then, I guess the game can use some features. Also, RobTop needs to be pretty lenient with the levels people will make in 2.1, because there are too many feature worthy levels out there that are not featured, and this will only increase in 2.1 So someone called 41laayinad is going to come onto the forum when 2.1 is submitted to Apple, and start spam wars three and four ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I wonder how the particle editor will be like...I mean, a new editor in an update -- 2.1 is no longer 'small' like Robtop said.
"March 4th, 2016: During GDSkitten's stream on twitch, Robert Topala mentions a possible collision trigger, saying that the player could shoot objects, but probably won't be possible for 2.1, maybe 2.2." - GD Wiki Tell me more
Hy u guys probably can't relate to this but is hyped because today is national marching band day! Sorry 4 off topic lol
