I think it's red because I believe that the 4x speed portal would be the fastest possible speed in GD. I also believe this because of a theory I heard about the rings and speed portals being the same color. Yellow ring being -1x speed, pink being 3x speed, blue being 1x speed, and green being 2x speed. Robert also said that the new ring is a red ring so that might mean the speed is also red. I also have a theory about Robert adding a purple -2x speed portal.
