And that someone is me. Also, if RobTop said the sneak peek is almost out, shouldn't it be out now? It's 2:30PM in Sweden, so...RobTop isn't almost done with the sneak peek if he worked for like, 6 hours or something like that...
I know how you can already do that, just put an invisible wall of spikes RIGHT in front of the player, and it follows the x and y axis. Each time you crash, the wall will move 100 units (which is 10 blocks) to the left, so it'll kill you (put the moving time really low but not 0, bcuz if it's 0 it will get through you). Put a touch-triggered move trigger on each gem that moves the spike wall 1 unit to the right. You're welcome .
I was thinking of a way I could somehow move a touch triggered toggle trigger, that is 10 squares upwards, down 1 unit each time I collect a gem/diamond, and when you touch it, all the objects will disappear, except for objects you can't touch that look exactly like the objects you CAN touch. Then, a bunch of move triggers can surround all the objects, so when the player hits an object, a touch- triggered toggle trigger will be moved down from being up, and it will make all the touchable objects re- appear, so the player has only one more chance to survive the attempt. But thanks for the help, anyway
I tried it in one of my levels, and the trigger somehow moved to player Y, but then when I changed the ID, nothing happened... And I somehow get some triggers to move in one of my older levels...
Well that is weird... I had like 5 ideas the could work if triggers could move. BTW, you can always use what I said back a few posts ago, it does work .
Imma build a mini hame level, the name is unknown yet. You can choose levels from 1 to 4: If you pass level 1, you don't get any coins but complete the level. If you pass level 2, you get 1 coin. Level 3 = 2 coins. Level 4 = 3 coins. You can choose at the start of the level what difficulty it will be. Even though, I'm not saying what the mini game is about.
I'm pretty sure the move trigger has to be a "Touch Triggered," move trigger... Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
1) nevermind. I understand now. 2) I tried it too (with touch triggered) on one of my levels but it didn't work. I don't know why it works sometimes... BUT if it really works sometimes, I think you can create a super unique level, a level that randomizes every time you play it
I just figured out that when you press "More," in the settings button next to the pause button in the editor, and you constantly scroll through all the colors, the game will eventually crash once you are beyond 1000 colors.
In fact, I got so excited about infinite colors, that after playing the new levels, when 2.0 came out, I immediately went to the colors and just kept scrolling till I got to 2400 and was like "K this is boring"... I'm using a very old iPad.
